As the name implies Neuhausen is not an old town and this hotel is a modern medium-rise block. But the room was large and pleasant, everything worked and the view was nice too. There is a cosy bar, not much used while we were there. The Manager and staff were charming and helpful. In common with most visitors our reason for staying was the proximity of the Rheinfall which is a short walk away and very enjoyable. The manager recommended revisiting the falls after dark and he was right - hardly anyone there and by the light of just a few spotlights very evocative.

The place is a loft rather than a villa, but very modern, spacious and comfortable. We were 5 adults and 2 kids, and there was plenty of space for all. It's great for music lovers - there is not only an excellent sound system, but even a well tuned grand piano! The kitchen is modern and well equipped, perfect to cook for a large extended family. The location is very convenient, 20 minutes drive from Zurich airport, but very quiet. Best of all is the host, extremely friendly and helpful!
