Didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, it was more just to sleep. It was well located with a tram stop outside front door taking you direct into Basel. Lovely location near the rhine, nice parks and walks nearby. quite a few shops and restaurants near by.

We loved the spacious room, which was spotless. We travelled with dogs and it was good to have a large garden and green spaces on property. The hotel is very close to pubic transport (a tram line) connecting it to St. Jakob park (a shopping centre). We arrived after reception closing time and could collect the key via a safe box, which worked perfectly. Another big plus is the hotel free parking plus plenty of free parking spaces on the street
The grounds were fantastic . Lots of green and all well kept. Breakfast was very good, Bio Orange and grapefruit, actually it was all Bio. I do my grocery shopping in Coop and I buy lots of bio stuff which I reckon is great. Room was nice, quiet, lovely bathroom. Mineral water in our room. We were here for one night and if we visit friends again then I will choose the Hotelpark without indulgence.
The Baslertor is conveniently located in Muttenz, just outside Basel and is clean, comfortable and especially quiet. The bus stop to downtown Basel - 20 minutes - is just outside the door so, you can stay in a nice hotel with a great value and get to anywhere in the area. There is a Coop grocery store located next to the Baslertor.
The Hotel has a interesting concept. They use Coop's supermarket restaurant and the place is very good. The hotel is very well located and it's convenient that the supermarket is on the same building. The room that I used was very good using a wheelchair inside and has a nice terrace. The parking spaces are very good also.
Spacious and clean apartment (with a little kitchenette) with all amenities one needs. Perfect for a family with 2 small children. Hotel is on a busy street, but that is expected if you want to be so close to Basel and the neighboring towns. We did not have breakfast so can't rate that. Staff was very friendly.
The location was perfect for me to attend a 3 day event at the Conference Centre - was a very easy 10 minute stroll.
Room was clean had to ask for additional blanket.

This hotel is a very good choice if you look for a good middle class hotel with quiet rooms, a good service and a handy location. A garage is at disposal, the direct tram line to the city of Basel is very near by. The rooms have a good size and are funtional. I recommend this hotel.
The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood Muttenz. We stayed for three days. Hotel is just two minutes away is the station for tram 14, which takes you to the center for about 15-20 minutes. Near the hotel there is a supermarket, several fast foods and a bakery.
The property Is located very conveniently in case you need to go to the Sankt Jacob stadium. The tram is 3 minutes walk from the hotel and has its own parking free of charge. Great location

They extended our check-out time, that was nice. Hotel is comfortable and located in a very peaceful area. For the ones arriving with car, they have free parking. Fitness center is very well equipped, they even had a leisure room with dart, billard etc.
Good parking facilities. Entry to hotel was effected via a code as the reception was closed. Room size was good. The room was modern, warm and clean. A basic pizzeria was within walking distance to the hotel.
