The location was great and very peaceful. The staff were very helpful and it is close to the ski resort.

The hotel is easy to reach by public transport, the room was big enough for a family of 3, clean, they also added one more single bed as we requested,although we did not need it as we could all sleep on the big bed. The food at the restaurant was perfect and the buffet for breakfast had everything you expect to find on a breakfast.

It’s a very cute small town with beautiful views and lake trails and benches, however not every train stops there so you always have to check the trains. Not much to do in the town, not even place to eat or have a beer but it’s a great location as a base for exploring the Wales’s lake area.
We enjoyed the piece and quiet and no tourists around.

Local SPAR has the friendliest shopkeeper I've ever met - super chap.
Lake is clear and lovely to swim in at the little bay near the campsite.
Trains are only hourly but mostly reliable. Lots of potential for hill walking (especially if you go one town over to Unterterzen for the cable car) and lake trips. Sadly we did not have enough time as it was a short stop from somewhere else before going back to Zurich for our flight.

It has a beautiful view of the mountains and the lake and is one stop away from flumserberg where you have a lot of activities withing the mountains. But it is a dead town, there is nothing much to do around
Hotel Rössli is a humble looking place but they have fancy equipments. I absolutely love their bed - it is adjustable to make watching movies/working on your laptop more comfortable. The best part of the hotel is their Terrace with a panoramic view of the Churfürsten mountain and the Wallensee ❤️❤️❤️ That’s where they host the breakfast and dinner for hotel guests. And their food is amazing! The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. They will go the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable.
The location was stunning . The place is emaculate and cleaners do a fantastic job of tending to the rooms . On top we upgraded rooms on the last night and cleaners made sure we could enter the room without much delay . Customer Service absolutely up the with hotels with more stars . 🌟 As this is a smart hotel without desk or staff interaction the cleaners seemed to take it on thems selfs to be polite and welcoming on each passing . They are a credit to the hotel.
the view of the lake and mountains was incredible! very quiet location. near Spar for groceries, shopping. Hotel Restaurant serves delicious high quality food with excellent table setting. Room was very spacious for a family of 5. mini fridge had plenty of room to keep drinks and snacks cold - fit 3 full size bottles of wine plus kids drinks.
Super clean hotel and premesis... owner was very responsive via the booking app... contact less check in , all with codes , no key required... highly recommended stay - p.s - the view from the rooms facing the road is not exciting. If you want a room with a view , be sure to request a room facing the lake side.
Hotel exceeded my expectations for its price. The gentleman who met us was very helpful, and polite. The hotel and the room were very clean and nicely decorated. It was very quiet during the night. The check in and the check out was quick. Had a good nights sleep.
Wonderful and helpful staff, very clean facilities and safe. A beautiful view of Walensee, particularly when enjoying a coffee or dining outside. Would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Murg.
