Hotel well located in the centre of the town. Clean cosy room with all necessary facilities, including TV and an electric kettle. Actually, the room was in a better state than what I was expecting based on some of the photos on the website.
I was also able to leave a bag for a week in the luggage room at no extra cost. Very much appreciated.

My room was the same as it was described. I want to emphasize two more things:
1. It was great to see how my room and bathroom were extraordinarily clean.
2. The working staff was fantastic- answering all my questions very quickly, and even finding me adapter for the electricity when I needed it.

Only had a brief overnight stay but found that almost all the shops shut in the middle of Saturday afternoon and are closed on Sundays. Nothing against that, but it’s not ideal for a walking holiday. And the church bell tolls every 15 minutes, all night!

Meiringen is a wonderful place for mountain enthusiasts.
Meiringen is a wonderful place for mountain enthusiasts. It is not nearly as touristic as the nearby Interlaken and offers the chance to enjoy nature including Reichenbach falls, glaciers and the Aare Gorge cozily. A perfect escape location with a real Swiss spirit.

It was a lovely town unfortunately due to the Covid...
It was a lovely town unfortunately due to the Covid restrictions most shops were close. However Meiringen is centrally located to Interlaken, Lucern, Grimmewald. All within driving distance. Will visit again in summer , hopefully the covid restrictions are no longer there

Self catering. Excellent location, very close to Post Bus and train station so easy to get about - no need for a car. Meiringen is a lovely village surrounded by beautiful scenery offering splendid walks and sightseeing. The nearby Sherlock Holmes museum is a “must see” as are the Reichenbach Falls. Buses tske you high through mountain passes through stunning scenery.
Lovely mountain view from my room and only a couple of minutes walk from the train station. Hotel staff were all wonderful and very helpful. Booked very last minute on a busy weekend and was glad to still get a nice room at a reasonable price. Breakfast was great too. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Meiringen.
Hotel Victoria is absolutely delightful and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The room was lovely, the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff are friendly, professional and attentive and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. I loved my stay here and I hope to be back.

It is very happily situated. Shops are around the corner, 2 supermarkets in walking distance.
