The location is exceptional. The view from the window was sublime and it's a 1 minute walk to the train staion that takes you to Lugano or Como. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was nice. There was a mini ferry terminal that took you to Lugano.

It is an affordable hotel, the room is tight but comfortable and clean. We also liked that the television supported streaming 😁, worked great! Although not as luxurious as more expensive hotels, the breakfast was very good, the staff even provided gluten free bread when we asked!!

We had a fantastic stay, myself, my wife and our 3 dogs (two Labrador’s and a Great Dane cross Saint Bernard). Only had to pay 100chf for the dogs in total for the night. They had also left out 3 dog beds big enough for all our dogs and a little treat bag for each of them, they were incredibly accommodating. For dog owners it’s a perfect hotel to stay at.

The family-run Hotel Delfino has a privileged location close to the lake shore and next to the pedestrian area which leads into the heart of the city of Lugano.
