Good position with car parking possibility in the close proximity of the hotel. Very good connection to the city center via train. It takes few minutes to the main train station in Luzern. Room was a bit small but clean and comfy, perfect for short stay. Breakfast was OK, nothing special but fulfilling our need.

Had a nice stay during a long weekend. Room was spacious enough to accommodate an extra bed. Breakfast had a good variety of options. The staff was nice and welcoming. There is an underground parking with a limited number of spots that is charged per night at the reception. You get free public transportation in Luzern via a code provided at the check-in.

You can cover most of Luzern in a day, it's very nice and pleasant to walk round across the bridges and the castle route to get great aerial views of the lake. I even managed a 1 hour boat trip, although nice was bit expensive for 1 hour.

Ameron hotel was great - it was clean and the room was comfortable. The location was fantastic - you could almost walk everywhere in the old town and just 5 mins from the train station and chapel bridge. Very convenient, and highly recommended esp for those thinking of visiting Rigi, Pilatus or Titlis. Go to these mountains early to avoid the crowd.
We stayed at the Businesshotel Lux only one night on our way to North Europe. The hotel is only a short drive from Lucerne, a beautiful medieval city with covered bridges, historic buildings and lively squares. After a lovely sight-seeing tour we chilled on the Ufschötti Strand beach. They say " when in Switzerland do like the Swiss do" and they were all there relaxing under the trees on the lawn or on the large sandy beach. The Businesshotel Lux has free parking and a pleasant breakfast included.
I loved the self-check in concept of Anstatthotel - purely using the Anstatthotel app to check-in and accessing into the building and the room. The complete provision of kitchen applicances and utensils were really a MAJOR PLUS. Proximity from Luzern city is WONDERFUL ! Bus No.20 from Luzern HB comes directly infront of Anstatthotel (Horw, Seefeld), you just cannot ask for more. Very sustainable living concept, and this is typical Switzerland. Loved it !
Lucerne has to be one of my favourite places to visit in Switzerland. The hotel is just a short bus ride from the station, very easy to find. The staff at this hotel could not have been any friendlier or more accommodating for us. The view from the room over the lake was just spectacular. We also enjoyed the sunset bar across the road. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely, a good selection of food/juices.
The location of was perfect, right on the lake and beautiful views. It is one train stop out of Lucerne and a short walk from the train station to the hotel...or about a 20 minute walk along the lake to get to Lucerne. Perfect. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was great, rooms were cleaned each day, minifridge and snacks were a huge plus, and the shower was amazing.
We enjoyed this hotel very much. The room was small but the bathroom good size. We had a balcony which was nice but it looked out at another building. The hotel was convenient to walk around the city and close to restaurants and bars. We spent much of our time along the boardwalk by the river. We easily could have spent more time in Lucerne. The breakfast was excellent.
Excellent breakfast - excellent location - excellent staff. I returned to Lucerne a couple of day later and needed to store my luggage for a few hours. There weren't any lockers available at the train station so I walked a couple of blocks to the hotel and they gladly stored my luggage for 5 hours - no charge. If I return to Lucerne I will definitely stay in this hotel.
Breakfast was amazing . The staff were really friendly and the location of the hotel was perfect . There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel which takes you to the centre of Lucerne. It was so easy . We also loved using the electric scooters they provided to be able to visit some of the beautiful areas around the lake nearby .

Nice hotel with nice lake Lucerne view from the balcony. Hotel has a paid private parking which you have to reserve in advance. They gave us the Lucerne guest card that we could use for transportation in the main zone and also give discount for some trips to the peak(eg. ferry + train round trip to mount Rigi)
