This location exceeded all expectations. The owners are by far the most gracious hosts I've experienced, taking great care to make sure that guests have every possible convenience for an easy and comfortable stay. They provide many extras to make you feel welcome and at home. Really wonderful.
I was not sure, before the stay, as to the autonomy and privacy of the space because it is part of a larger house. It is completely private and exceptionally quiet even though there are occupants up stairs. They use a different entrance and the house is extremely well-built and solid so there is no sense of having an upstairs neighbor.

The on-site restaurant was good. The staff were efficient. When I contacted the hotel after departure pointing out that they still had a security deposit of mine 'pending' on my credit card, they were quick to rectify the error and release the funds. We enjoyed the breakfast and our dinner in the restaurant.
Great location. A nice alternative to a 'modern' hotel. The family room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 young teens who get along well but some might say it was too small. The hotel is a 'heritage' hotel , so rooms are not that big. It was a good experience to see how old the hotel , village and region is because of the photos and artefacts on the walls of the hotel
It was clean, quiet and breakfast buffet was good for kids and adults.
The staff were fantastic and helpful and even spoke English to me. The shower was a little on the short side, for me but i am rather tall, but when i asked to change rooms they were able to acccommodate my request. The breakfast was good and served a small variety but quality produce and the restaurant in the hotel served delicious large portions of food.
