This hostel was great value.
Facilities were clean & comfortable, and there was a room for my bike.
It is about a 20 minute walk back to Andermatt, but on a designated pathway,or Hospental has a train station.
Ensure you order dinner,as the meals were fantastic,as were the hosts.
I’ll definitely return!

The property is in a very good position and offers a parking space. Room was small but very cozy. Using the common bathroom was no problem at all. The staff was super nice.

Perfect hotel if you have a baby! We had a crib, a baby sterilizer, bottle warmer, special baby amenities for baby bath. Everything is so children friendly and we loved it.
Fantastic staff that go above and beyond (special thanks to Nikos at the restaurant) and great food (breakfast, room service, dinner).
Huge perfect rooms as well - value for money for Switzerland.
Great bathrobe for spa - although too warm for summer.

Comfortable, clean, contemporary decor whilst keeping the original charm and character of the building staff were polite and hey, the food in the bar was excellent, local produce.
Great place in a small, beautiful village. Good bike riding close by if you enjoy the mountains. Food at the hotel was fine. The only issue I had was my room had three extra beds which is hardly a bad thing! They had good bike storage and tools as well. I would stay here again and make it my base for a few days of riding, hiking, etc
Maike and Walter were so lovely, and the food was amazing. They were also very helpful and kept me updated about snow conditions, and the best ways to get to Andermatt. It felt like home away from home. I really enjoyed my stay in Hospental and will definitely be back.
The warm welcome and friendliness of the host
The dinner was very good (salad, rice and goulash), and breakfast also great
Hospental is 40min walk (beautiful) from Andermatt so perfect if you have some time.
I arrived late and the hotel was thankfully very accommodating to my late check-in. The breakfast is perfect: filter coffee, DIY cooked eggs, fresh bread, real birchner muesli. Highly recommended.
Very Homey feel with great kitchen access and one of the nicest hostels we’ve stayed in. The staff were so lovely and we even partook in the NYE sled down the Main Street of hospental!
