The hotel was remote but very nice, with cows walking on the backyard and deers. Really nice view in the mornings with mist around the trees. The whole area felt like it was connected with the hotel, good food in the restaurant.

I was driving for business meetings in the middle of a snow storm from Köln. They were waiting for me to check-in safely till late at night and made sure I was OK.
The property was so clean and warm although it was -20°C outside. The view was beautiful in the morning. Breakfast was OK for the price but can be better.

We found Eggiwil village very nice and the residents were very friendly and respectful. We were in Mr. Alexander hotel for one night but have lots of good memories. At end he gave us two pockets of homemade spaghetti. Thanks for all he did for us.
When we arrive to home one day later we found that my one son brings a towel of hotel mistacally. If we visit again Eggiwil will give it back, if not we hope Alex porden us.
