I have stayed here before and the biggest advantage of this hotel is the location next to the funicular to the railway station. But it is also perfectly located in the center of Lugano's old town. They have rooms with 3 beds which was perfect for this stay.

We had a fantastic stay, myself, my wife and our 3 dogs (two Labrador’s and a Great Dane cross Saint Bernard). Only had to pay 100chf for the dogs in total for the night. They had also left out 3 dog beds big enough for all our dogs and a little treat bag for each of them, they were incredibly accommodating. For dog owners it’s a perfect hotel to stay at.

The family-run Hotel Delfino has a privileged location close to the lake shore and next to the pedestrian area which leads into the heart of the city of Lugano.

Ideally located in the heart of Lugano but just a short hop on the funicular from the main train station. Small, but very well appointed, comfortable room with spacious bathroom. Checkin was very smooth with a delightful receptionist, and as our rooms were ready we were able to check in early. Would definitely stay here again.
