My wife and I had the pleasure of spending a night at this charming apartment, and it was an experience we won't soon forget. Lovely view on the Lake. If I had known that this was an apartment with a full kitchen, I would have prepared meals there. The staff were incredible. I am very familiar with Schwarzsee as my ancestors were from here and I have spent many a summer holiday on the lake. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and the sounds of cow bells and mountain silence, brought me "home". There is a sense of gemutlichkeit . Upon leaving the hotel the staff presented us with a gift of homemade honey. What a lovely touch!
We had an excellent stay. The hotel is perfect for families with children, there is a playroom underneath the restaurant to allow for a quiet dinner among adults. Staff is very friendly, the rooms and facilities are very clean. Always a please to stay at Hostellerie Schwarzsee
The location of this hotel is fantastic as it looks over the lake and is set in a tranquil quiet village surrounded by mountains and greenery. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are very big and comfortable and the food is amazing.

We had a nice one night stay. The property and location is. Very close to the frozen lake we were able to directly cross it to go to the skilift (although ca. 15 min walk). The hotel is made well accessible for disabled guests.
