I've known Herr Rubi, the owner and manager of Chemihüttli, since 2004. He has always been impeccable as a host and I often use him as an example of how a hotel should be run. Not only the apartments are in perfect working order and clean, but the way Herr Rubi and his team look after you will make you feel at home from day one. Parking is available on site (our car was parked five steps from the flat's door!) and, when the weather allows it, you can ski on and out.

Excellent breakfast, if you come away from breakfast dissatisfied that's a 'you' problem!! The location is stunning and the part of the hotel we stayed in was across the road from the lake where you could spend hours in peaceful tranquility looking at the mountains and lake!! A great base for touring. Parking could be an issue during busy periods, however we had no issues while we were there.

Absolutely charming and cozy appartment in a nice area where you have plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. The hosts thought about anything to make your stay great- all the small things for a comfortable stay are included. The hosts are very welcoming and nice, and we appreciated their support during our visit. Thank you so much dear Jolanda and Nicolas for our great vacation in Axalp. We absolutely loved the appartment and the area. Thank you!
We stayed at this beautiful apartment during our trip to Switzerland, I would only say that stay ws WONDERFUL.
Apartment was very clean and located in top of the Axalp mountain and route to the apartment itself was filled with thrilling and beautiful views of Lake Brienz.

Amazing little hotel up the mountain, very friendly and helpful owners. Great hicking trails near by with very little trafic. For those who prefer the calm away est from crowds, that's the perfect location at great prices. Calm and serenity up the mountain!
I liked pretty much everything: location, mountain view from our balcony, kitchen facilities. All places are easily reachable from this location. I also liked the curved road on the way to the hotel :)
The staffs were friendly and the room was spacious as well. Clean facilities and had a comfortable stay during our 3 nights in Axalp. The view from our room was spectacular as well!
