Hastings House Bed & Breakfast, hotel in Warkworth

Located in Hastings town centre, this accommodation provides daily breakfast. Free Wi-Fi is provided in all guest rooms and a shared sauna offers relaxation. The Trans-Canada Trail is 2.1 km away.

We came to see my family in the area while their house was full, we have now decided just to stay at Hastings House when we come down in the future because of the amazing stay. Our hostess Elise was a fabulous cook and shopkeep, showing me amazing vintage in the front store. Obviously I had to leave with more then I came, and the extra love she puts into breakfast is definitely felt. Growing up just a few houses down and spending countless summers in the river across from the front door was an experience that I cannot compare, finally getting to enter that cute little building just off the corner. My partner and I have already booked for the holidays before we left and are so happy to have found this gem!

A quaint Ontario town with a warm and welcoming community.

A quaint Ontario town with a warm and welcoming community. Antique and collector businesses throughout the greater area. Wonderful pottery and glassblowing on site. Several cafes, clothing, pantry and chocolate stores. The Branch Ranch is about a 10 minute car ride where classes are given in willow making garden decor and basketry. Classes are by reservations only. Overall, a wonderful area of Ontario to explore and stay a night or two.

It’s a beautiful quaint little town.

It’s a beautiful quaint little town. And what you can’t find in Warkworth you can find in the nearby town of Campbellford!! We arrived into Warkworth around 6pm on a Saturday and by then a lot of the shops and restaurants had rolled up their welcome mats... understandably sort of 🤔😬😩. It was for a short visit so browsing the next day unfortunately was not an option. So first l would recommend a earlier arrival time!! We stayed at “the Roost” which is a fantastic Bed & Breakfast . The breakfast they prepared was delicious. Very friendly hosts .. though we did not get to chat much to the female counterpart .. Beth! I guess busy with other things🤷🏻‍♀️😁. Does take a lot of effort to run a B&B... But no doubt “the Roost” was charming, comfy, clean and I would recommend it!!😉😁
