the apartment was very comfortable.
the apartment was very comfortable. It was worth the money for us to stay here. My only suggestion to the renters of the property is that the bed needs to be upgraded. It was comfortable enough but for big people, like me, comfort is everything when I sleep. Other than that, It was great!!

The area didn't seem very safe.
The area didn't seem very safe. Everything seemed far but on further exploration, it isn't -- convenience-wise I would recommend Surrey if you're going to be in and around the area much. Safety-wise, I wouldn't say it's totally unsafe, I'd only recommend one to be careful initially, assess for your own self, and decide if staying out after sundown is a good idea or not.

Surrey is my hometown. I am a Canadian citizen. It just so happened I needed a place to stay at the time and I got robbed by these people who rented me the place for 45 days. 8925 151 street Surrey BC. They took the money the day I moved in and promised to refund the damage deposit as soon as I vacated the place ($1400 CDN ). But that never happened to this day(12th of July 2023)

Eat at Crescent beach or "Morrisons" in Ocean Park to escape the main beach crowds.
The soccer fields are amazing there.
Lovely art and gift shop in White Rock centre.

The thing is , that owner or manager, she doesn’t have manners. As we booked the hotel via booking .com but at she said there was no booking and the rate she told us was way to high . And she is not accepting intrac or cards only cash . And when we asked for refund she said no refunds and cut the phone

It was affordable for where I waned to go.
It was affordable for where I waned to go. Easy to get to Vancouver and other destination most times. Wonderful accommodation that I would like to book in the future instead of nearer to Vancouver where it is very expensive. If you didn't have a car it might not be so good, There was parking on the street and I never had a problem with that, Closer parking in the driveway for electric cars to charge. Must admit I didn't spend a lot of time in Surrey but I was able to find all the places I wanted. Chong Qing restaurant and Krispy Kreme doughnuts for example. Lots of other malls for shopping also. I was mostly visiting friends in the area.
I was cheated! Firstly, this is not a hotel, but it is on sale hours for temporary Aiebnb without service. Secondly, the young man who didn’t speak well English opened the door for me, then i was told I shouldn’t keep the room key. I wasn’t provided the room key and just lock inside, but the room has no safety lock. I felt unsafe and had to put the chairs behind the door for whole night. Additionally, there are no shampoo and no body wash in the washroom, making the room extremely rudimentary. Describe on the booking.com wasn’t true.
Check-in was a snap and the two gentlemen at the front desk were very friendly and offered information and suggestions for restaurants in the area. The complimentary bottle of chilled sparking wine and treats was an unexpected pleasure.
While food in the breakfast room was not unlike that in many hotels the breakfast room attendant (Taran) did a remarkable job - looking after everyone's needs and chatting cheerfully with the guests.
it was better than previous stays at other hotels for us
we wanted to feel home type of feeling . opening the windows and breath the fresh air that us not possible in hotel rooms. location is in heart of Surrey about 28 minutes to our airline we arrived . taxi driver hit GPS and we found ourselves in a luxury big mansion type as it’s called Empress Hotel .
it was very nice and one of kind hotel but small size and lovely
As I was needing close access to Surrey Memorial Hospital the location of this Inn was perfect. Despite being on a busy thorough fare my room was quiet. This renovated older building is tastefully done with comfortable beds and clean rooms.
I booked one night and have decided to stay several more as this pleasant motel has met my expectations.
We had a pet dig and no hotel wanted to accept us that day
Luckily last minute we called them and they allow see our pet size by phone and we give them 29 dollar per day and started out trio with them in Vancouver
Our dog size was about a cat size
We might extend it as they have beautiful garden for us to stay
Very nice hotel as it has just recently been renovated (you can tell because they were still working on some areas). The staff were friendly. The rooms were nice and clean. Everything was in good condition and seemed brand new. Would definitely stay here again!
Desirable area.
Furnished like a cozy home
Inside is super unique and clean
Parking fir SUV was 30 and we paid
Secured with security camera
We interact the money after calling hotel
Very professional manager and friendly
Nice staff
Bed was very comfortable and apartment was perfectly located. Many restaurants and things to do close by as well as close to Softball City for the Canada Cup which was reason for visit.
the room and bathroom were super clean, the bed was very comfortable. It was 200 CAD cheaper than airport hotels, but just as good as those to fall asleep after a long flight...
Great stay, clean, comfortable, quiet. Semi-basement actually has natural light and privacy. Full kitchen. It's on par with hotel suites, but bigger, it's a full apartment.
