Close proximity to downtown, yet it still felt quiet!
I loved that there were two separate rooms, one with the beds and the other with couch, tv and everything else. It helped make it easier to put the kids to bed.
They also switched our room to on the main floor and that was really nice.
I loved the design of the pool and we had it all to ourselves for a while with the kids! Good price!
Just 500 metres from the beach, The June Motel is located in Sauble Beach. Free WiFi is provided and complimentary coffee and tea is available. Each room has a private balcony or patio.

The June was an amazing getaway. The rooms are spacious clean and adorable. The pool was great, lovely atmosphere and service was impeccable. The restaurant was delicious. We had lunch, dinner and a wonderful breakfast that was included (best pastries) and lunch. The lobster at heydays was so fresh and yum yum yum. All staff was incredible.

Park right on the beach as you take a stroll and a dive into the not-so-warm waters of Sauble Beach. Lots of restaurants nearby - get a burger with a drink or two. I had about a dozen. Then walk over to any of the ice cream shops. Great place for families.

The room was disgustingly filthy.
The room was disgustingly filthy. For a few minutes work the walls and ceiling could have been washed and would make an amazingly huge difference to these cabins.
The restaurants downtown are great, it is very easy to walk to everything downtown and the beach is just incredible. I would NOT stay at this location again if they paid me to.

The water level is high this year 2020 but the public beach areas are still wide enough... you cannot drive or park on them any longer, however.
Typical beach town that attracts a lot of young people in summer. Southampton is more of a family town and has an even better, longer beach.

Good Beach for Ontario.
Good Beach for Ontario. Expensive parking at Beach although 2 hours free in town. Very limited selection of eating places and hotels. Little atmosphere. Zero nightlife or fine dining, shopping, activities. Do not recommend for young people unless in a group of friends. Nice for a long weekend if weather is good and in season. Best to find a good cottage or camping in RV.
We liked the location and the property and room where kept well. They where on the pricey side and had a lot of rules which would be fine for younger people staying there. We had to put a security deposit We are 55 years old and have stayed in many hotel We have never trashed any place we have stayed. Also I think extra for if we back up the toilet is insane due to the fact I really think the propert has a major problem with the plumbing. The plumber was there almost the whole day fixing a cottage and also a hotel room next to is.
Very happy to discover glamping. We travelled with our guinea pigs (in their cage). Cosy and clean bunkie/ linen... We had all we needed (fridge, an awning to put our bikes, our own table for dinner...)
Two kinds of shared bathrooms: dry toilets and open sky shower (do not worry, there is a curtain) OR usual bathrooms.
Mattress was comfy. Not too far from Sauble beach or even Owen sound. 1h30 from Tobermory
We met the 3 spice girls (pigs) and the goats. :)
The room was of decent size and had all the amenities. Location is very close to the Sauble beach and the view of the river from the room is great. They also provide free canoes and kayaks which could be great fun if the weather is good. Jackie from the hotel was extremely helpful at sharing information on restaurants that were open late in the night when we arrived and also gave us linens, pillows and towels that were temporarily not provided due to covid.
I have been going to Sauble Beach and staying at the Bel Air Cottages since 1987 and after so many years of being absent I knew that this is the only place I would stay and recommend highly to family and friends. I knew of their reputation for neatness, cleanliness and friendly atmosphere.
I was not disappointed. Compliments to the Husak Family for their great work through the years and I can only hope that the new owners will be the same. Thank you.
good customer service
our dog was welcome
relaxing in the 2 person hammock surrounded by trees, grass, flowers and singing birds
Tim hortons 5 minute walk after you turn right at the end of the driveway.
wifi available
outdoor shower was really nice
the property is within short drive to sauble beach and pioneer park which is steps away from a part of southampton Beach where you can bring your dog.
Customer service best I've seen long time I've been to many motels hotels and cottages and Customer service cleanness was impacable amazing!! Very happy very impressed. Location very pretty close walk to beach and view from room river view amazing. Peaceful quite little place to go was very happy there so much we booked back for our next visit already
I loved the whole ambiente of the little hotel. It is family owned and run and the rooms are cozy with a coffee machine, fridge, microwave and a lovely heater that looks like a fire place. The beds are cozy and the place was very clean! It is situated right at the river and makes for the most beautiful and romantic stay.
The vibes of this motel is amazing. The common area is very well decorated and nice. The breakfast pastries they provide in the morning are delicious. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The motel offer a handful of free activities. The restaurant food are delicious.
Staff at the hotel were absolutely wonderful.
I’ve loved being away from the busy town and found the grounds to be so peaceful.
Just wish we’d stayed more than 1 night to take advantage of the kayaks and canoes and bbq.
Great location, a quick walk to main strip and the beach. The owner is very friendly and the hotel had everything we needed to be comfortable. We liked having a full size fridge and the pool in the back was a bonus.
I need to say that the place is unique. You can't find a better stay for this value of money. It's not the hotel, so this accommodation is not for everyone, but it was my first time with the glamping and I liked it.
I like cleanness of the property. Our cottage was under mature trees so cottage was never to hot. Closeness to the Sauble Beach. Host was very friendly also we have a nice location for a bone fire.
We love the Kit-Wat - it is a lovely quiet spot and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The motel is a 5 minute walk from the north end of the beach, which makes it easy to get there.
The property is too old and smells of humidity. The price is a rip off when compared to the June motel (few meters away) which was renovated and can accommodate more tenants for half the price
The hotel manager and staff were the nicest people I have met since a long time. The rooms are clean and updated and it’s just a short walk down to the beach.
Quiet beautiful place
Nice staff (++++)
Water access
Canoes, kayaks at disposal
4km from Sauble beach main beach
