Head to the Monashee Distillery in Revelstoke for a great atmosphere and fabulous cocktails; plus if you're a Whisky person they have the largest range of Whiskies ever seen. Visit Revy Outdoors for a super selection of everything you may need (and things you didn't know you needed). A wonderful friendly atmosphere in and around town, nice shops and we were lucky to catch the weekly Farmers Market and the Luna Festival. Loved Revelstoke and didn't want to leave.

We happened to be in Revelstoke on the night of an arts festival, which we decided to take in. We had so much fun! The streets downtown were cordoned off so no traffic could interrupt the flow of people. It was really uplifting for us. We also ate dinner in a fun restaurant called Seoul Street and ate the most delicious food, then walked back to our hotel to enjoy the pleasant night. All in all, we had a fabulous experience even though we were only there for one day.

Most of what there is to see in Revelstoke can be seen from the road and apart from the short trip up the Parkway to the Summit Meadows there is no real need to hang around. This is spoken from the point of view of two seniors who can no longer walk any distance. We did the run up to The Summit Meadows and once at the top it was clear that the only reason to drive up there was to go walking,----- if you could get parked.

Revelstoke seems to be a nice little town.
Revelstoke seems to be a nice little town. It is easy to walk around the town. We had a light meal at Conversations Coffee House. Highly recommend this place. It was busy, so be prepared to wait a bit in line and to find a place to sit inside.
We were there at the end of the summer, but were able to take in some of the evening outdoor entertainment.
We also enjoyed a self guided tour of the Revelstoke HydroElectric Dam which is only open during the summer months.
