Wonderful ski vacation lodge. Everything I needed ; ski lockers, boot dryers, 60 seconds away from gondola, restaurants, friendly staff, outdoor hottub, ski lodge decor throughout. Clean and well decorated room , mountain view and balcony . Loved it so much I stayed an extra nite and the lodge matched my already great rate. Will be staying next season for sure.

Rooms renovated recently and was nice and very clean. Our room had a nice view of the mountains. Very quiet at night. There is also a Indian food restaurant next door where we had one of the best meals and also got a 10% discount for staying at the lodge.

A good location to stop if travelling across the mountains. Close to several ski and mountain activies, with a wide range of wildlife in the area. The town itself has several amenities ranging from restaurants to supermakets (though if you go into the shop Save on Foods, make sure you get the code from the tubs with loose food before heading up to the checkout), with the river running alongside it. Petrol station, though doesn't sell diesel.

The Northern Lights Wolf centre and the Buffalo ranch were the two highlights of the tour, really amazing to experience these creatures so close but with great conservation efforts being made by both organizations.
The town of Golden was small but cute, probably a great spot for the ski season.

We booked this hotel/lodge because we were coming from Jasper and the following day, we are headed to Banff. Its quite secluded and there is no food to buy around the area. But the room has all the amenities needed. Very nice bathroom, dining room, and bedroom. The view from our room is mountain. There's a free parking at the basement, just inform the front desk. We were able to visit Emerald Lake and Natural bridge from this hotel and an hr away from Lake Louise Summer Gondola... This place is very good place for skiing

We didn’t spend much time in the city because our B a and B away so comfortable I didn’t want to leave except to go to Yoho National Park which is not far away and we’ll worth seeing.
Golden is a small town but has many eateries and coffee shops. Eleven 22 Restaurant is superb
There’s a beautiful trail around the whole town

The town of Golden is a beautiful place to visit. Nice stop on your travels from Alberta to B.C. destinations. Would recommend staying in one of the many CHAIN HOTELS. Also book your accommodations early, as hotels do book up quickly in this area.
Contrary to some of the reviews, our room was very nice for the price. It appeared to have been renovated within a year or two. Room was a mini-suite, with main room with King bed, and a smaller room with queen bed, and a small kitchen (stocked w dishes, silverware, toaster, coffee, etc.). Overall very clean, comfy beds, check-in was easy. While the hotel was not cheap, it was the least expensive in an extremely expensive area. Poor internet strength was the only negative.
Bruce and Cathy were the most welcoming hosts and the Golden Acres Mountain lodge absolutely made our holiday!
Hot tub, BBQ, lovely inviting rooms with a spa bathtub. The property was also ideally located for hiking and rafting nearby to Golden.
I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone going near Golden to stay here!
The location was beautiful. Mountain view, quiet, romantic, stunning. With the low price, you get a very short-staffed hotel. The lobby has minimal operational hours. Other than then - if you want to escape tourist crowds, just rest with your mind, cook by yourself, enjoy mountain views, breathe deeply, and just chill - just go for it!
Beautiful Lodge in a beautiful area of Golden, BC. Our suite had everything and more than we needed!! Paul was great about showing us the highlights of places and activities that were “must sees and do!” We did it all and our hearts are full from the beauty and kindness we enjoyed in the local area!!
The owners are amazing and it felt like staying in a home rather than a hotel. I cannot recommend the breakfast enough, the best food I have eaten in a long time! So peaceful a location just a few minutes drive from Golden downtown. Perfect if you feel like just getting away from it all.
Customer service staff were very friendly and efficient. They responded well by telephone when we had problems completing our booking online. The location in Golden is convenient to all services downtown. Highly recommend this as an alternative to a hotel
Best value in Golden by a mile. The owners and staff wee super accommodating to us, check in and check out was an absolute breeze. The rooms were super clean, and beds were comfy. We will for sure be coming back to stay on our next sled trip.
The hotel staff were informative and responsive. The room was clean and well apportioned. The room was quiet throughout the evening and the breakfast offering was plentiful and nicely prepared. There were several restaurants nearby for dining.
Location was amazing, the view from the apartment. The apartment had everything we needed. Short walk to Kinking Horse Mountain gondola and chairlift to see Boo the bear which is a must. Have dinner in Golden before you get there.
I loved everything about Golden Acres Mountain Lodge. It’s a very cool lodge. It’s beautiful, quite, clean and the owners Bruce and Cathy are the most nicest and welcoming people. Cathy makes the most delicious breakfast.
Easy to access location from the Trans Canada wiith good restaurant and gas station convenience store in walking distance. Price was comparable to other hotels with similar location and amenities.
Good 2 nights stay for long weekend leisure holiday.

This is the hotel we use when we are in Golden. Never disappoints. The attached restaurant is handy for early morning departures and food is good and well presented.
Right up the Mountain, away from almost everything. The hotel was great, staff friendly and the views were excellent. I can imagine it being amazing in winter.
