Algonquin Madawaska Lodge Cottage Glamping Cabins, hotel in Maynooth

Situated in Madawaska, Algonquin Madawaska Lodge Cottage Glamping Cabins provides accommodation with seating area.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay here in early October. Steve was very welcoming and friendly! We loved our cabin, super comfortable and in the middle of nature. We loved kayaking in the nearby lake and having our own bonfire at night. Short drive to east gate of Algonquin where we spent a couple of days. We didn't use the main lounge facilities a lot but I can see how fun it must be during winter. I'd definitely come back!

Nomi Resort, hotel in Maynooth

Set amidst the rugged forests of the Canadian Shield, Nomi Resort is a tranquil getaway in Highlands East, Ontario, 3 km from the south entrance to Algonquin Provincial Park.

I have thought long about reviewing this hotel. And what to say. Very strange place -not in keeping with the rustic environment of the areas I think they are trying to attract the weekend yuppies from the cities with their electric car charging points - seems to have a link up with Porsche. The spa area and upmarket restaurant seemed incongruous with the surroundings. There is a lot of building work going on - building houses for holidaymakers which will be sold at a vast price (close to C$1million!).
