Property is exquisitely landscaped, overlooking the bay. Recently renovated rooms, very modern and clean. No food available on-site but adjacent common room had large clean kitchen available. Not much in the way of local restaurants, so be prepared to bring your own breakfast with you. Cardigan is 25 minutes away with excellent Clamdigger restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Beautiful setting, near the Confederation trail, and provided boats for the lake. Cottages were exceptionally clean.
The people in town are super friendly and welcoming.
The people in town are super friendly and welcoming. We attended an event at the Playhouse and had a great time. Both evenings we had dinner at the Georgetown Inn and both times it was incredible with great service!

Georgetown is a sleepy little fishing village with little to do, however we were only there for under 24 hours. There are no restaurants in town but there is a tremendous little bakery/gallery around the corner from the Georgetown Inn where we stayed. But if you like quiet and quaint, it’s an ok place to stay for a short visit.

Lovely quiet town next to the sea.
Lovely quiet town next to the sea. Very friendly inhabitants. Conveniently situated to see other parts of the island. Lovely walks on the confederation trail. The Georgetown Inn also serves very nice meals at night so no need to go and look for restaurants.

Hotel was listed as historic...
Hotel was listed as historic... We were disappointed the entire town was not historic...It was more like a ghost town... We had a view of Daryl's store we looked out the window. The many stairs you have to climb to get to your room is more than bearable. The furniture was not historic.. Pine furniture does not fit as historic. No icemaker in the property except in kitchen when someone is there. They close the kitchen at 8:00 and do not open to let you in until EXACTLY 3:00 .
Upon leaving I had ask for a cup of ice and the owner refused..
