The room was spacious and clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the walk in shower was amazing. The hosts were responsive, helpful and provided us with wonderful suggestions of things to do and where to eat. The location was very good, close to restaurants and local sights. The use of the laundry facility was a great benefit. We had a wonderful stay and would strongly recommend this property.

Cap aux Meules is a good choice for exploring the different areas of Iles de la Madeleine. If you like to cycle, there are some very nice routes you can take around Cap aux Meules as well as down to Etang du Nord, Havres de Maisons etc. There are few restaurants and fast food all in town as well as 2 bike rental places. You can walk down to a nice little beach (maybe 10 minute walk) and at the marina you can take a boat excursion over to Entry Island which is worthwhile to explore - some beautiful hiking. If you are planning a trip in the peak summer period make sure to book well in advance to get the best choice of accommodation options since they are pretty limited. When we go back we will definitely look at renting a cottage or condo, and if you are flying there, make sure to get your car rental booked in advance since availability is very limited!.
Breakfast was poor. We were supposed to get a hot breakfast, but due to Covid we were offered terrible muffins and warm juice boxes. They did say we could travel to their sister hotel for hot breakfast, but we were unable to get in. As they did not refresh the room at all during our three day stay, we did not get a refresh on in-room coffee service.
