Good location right in the heart of town. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Off season rate was very reasonable, however summer prices are usually a bit too expensive for what it is.

Brand new mother daughter ski duo had amazing success with SkiBig3 Banff Adventure Hub gear rental and private ski instructor. Skied 3 days. Also enjoyed dogsledding in Canmore! Totally exceeded our expectations! Shops were variety of price points and restaurants offered a variety of options. Every turn of your drive was breathtaking! My teen stayed off of social media and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery during our drives! Everyone was extremely courteous and friendly in this town!

It is an absolutely charming town nestled in a most beautiful natural environment. The people were all very warm, kind, and helpful, although interestingly, they all (but one person I met) seemed to be from the UK, New Zealand, or Australia. But the accents were great, and so were the people. Next vacation... Australia! Back to Banff... a great getaway whether for skiing in the winter or simply unwinding, reflecting, and pondering the next steps, or getting your dream girl to say "yes" to the ring.

Banff and the surroundings are very picturesque and the towering Rockies add to the grandeur of the place. The ride in the Gondolas and the walk in the snow at the top is something no visitor must miss. Lake Minnewanka in all it's frozen splendour with the cabins in it's midst is spectacular when the sun comes up. Lake Louise - a few Kms away - is also something to behold. All in all a fabulous place to spend a few days.

There was a severe lack of snow this year (an el Niño year) which interfered with some of our planned outdoor activities, and meant we had to drive to Lake Louise for decent snow. We largely avoided downtown Banff because of the large number visitors and tourist shops. Parks staff at the information centre were very helpful.

Gondola rides was closed that time, for 5 days under maintanances must be mentioned or announced in your offer, so I dont have to booked too near to location a bit disappointed..but overall we still enjoyed downtown Baff.
The location is the best thing about the property. Very close to the centre of Banff and also right by the highway. If you are staying here and skiing at Banff Sunshine, then the access to the main road is an advantage. The self service check in and checkout via the app was awesome since I didn’t have to speak with anyone. I wish more hotels would do the same. Finally, we really liked the design of the rooms and the overall vibe of the place. Wifi was good too!
This is a beautiful mountain resort with a 15 minute gondola ride to the top. (They also have a shuttle in the summer). My 17 year old son and I were having a mother/son vacation before school started and this was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of summer. The hiking and views were unbelievable. The staff so friendly and welcoming. The location was great for a trip to Lake Louise or the village of Banff. Just a lovely experience.
Lovely suite hotel in Banff, perfect for our family ski vacation. For a small fee we were moved to a room with a great view of the mountains. Super comfy beds, no noise, friendly staff and fresh coffee tea and milk brought to our room daily. It’s a 15/20 minute walk into Banff which suited us, there’s a free shuttle if you prefer. We didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment on the food. Would definitely recommend
An absolutely superb hotel - amazing service from start to finish! Huge two bed suite with three bathrooms and so much space for the whole family to relax. Love view of the mountains. Outdoor pool was amazing and had a bar! Restaurants we’re fab as were the staff! Free bus shuttle into Banff town which we used twice - lovely shops and restaurants - so well worth dragging ourselves away from fairmont for a few hours.
The location is fantastic. The 15 minute parking is always full so you'll likely have to find somewhere else to park. Once checked in, you can get a key fob to secure, free parking less that a block away, though! There are lots of transit stops along Banff ave so I would highly recommend taking transit everywhere! The hotel is quirky but cute - mountain views from every room!
The location of this hotel is perfect. Right at the beginning of the downtown, so an easy walk to everything. Right outside the hotel is the bus shuttle, convent and the best way to get around Banff. We took it everywhere, the bus pass is also provided by the hotel. Having a warm breakfast every morning was also very welcoming. We very much enjoyed our stay.
The loft rooms were great. It was nice to have a private room (with a door) for the parents on the main floor and all the children upstairs. The kitchen had all the basic dishes and pots and utensils needed for simple meals. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was very convenient taking the bus from this hotel to downtown Banff.
This hotel is overall alright, not in downtown Banff (you will need a car or a bike to reach the center) but in the woods outside of the town.
Planty of space for car parcking.
The price was off the roof... definetly not worth it.
The pool was out of order, also quite disappointing
They allowed dogs and the fee $$ was more affordable then other hotel chains in Banff, we loved our room on ground level with patio door it was an awesome stay. And #1 best thing was the free breakfast and the coffee machine in the lobby! Lattes all day! It was a coffee lover dream!
modern hotel in great location close to all sights, shops and restaurants of downtown banff. although expensive compared to hotels in other destinations, it seems to offer fair value by local standards.
The hotel is okay particularly in terms of location. It is just almost a walking distance to Banff downtown. The suite that we booked is very spacious and we like the balcony with the mountain view.
Breakfast was excellent quality but expensive.
Room was extremely comfortable, good size and great bed. Lighting was rather limited, (similar to other hotels we have stayed in, in Canada.
Quiet location but a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Banff. Staff were very helpful and access to the hotel was very easy from the Trans Canada.
