Great city with an amazing park, playgrounds and fun stuff to do for kids. Pedestrian only high street with many boutique shops and restaurants. Excellent base to explore nearby Melnik, Rupite and Rozhen Monastery as well as the rest of the landmarks in the area.

The city park is really great!
The city park is really great! It is big enough for long walks. It's great maintained and is really beautiful. The kids were excited about the ducks, geese and swans there too. There is a restaurant on the lake inside the park which was great - quick service, delicious food and a great location.

The town is beautiful and the centrtal part is very well maintained. I particularly liked the park with the lake. There were beautiful trees in the park not so usual for the country and in the lake there were white and black swans. The restaurtants I visited were not too expensive and the food was good.

There is plenty to see, archeological museum, sites downtown. Sandanski is also a spa, with hot water springs.
It might help to have a spacious parking near the center not to roam streets for a free parking space.
There are plenty of fast food places and ice cream shops!

Sandanski is the place where we are doing a night over to...
Sandanski is the place where we are doing a night over to split the long drive to Greece, however in 2022 we have also uncovered Happy Bar Grill that we really like, and due to this restaurant decided to always stop to Sandanski.
But while stoping to Sandanski we have seen the beauty of this place and for next year we plan to stay several days instead of just one night. We love the Park, the apartment that we rented and the Animal shelter.
Extremely polite, well-mannered, and pleasant hosts. I am impressed by the hospitality they showed us. It was a true pleasure for us to be their guests in their spacious apartment, which is exceptionally roomy and equipped with everything necessary. The location is more than perfect and in close proximity to the park and the main shopping street. I definitely recommend this place for your vacation in Sandanski.
A great hotel/guest house! Located very close to the centre with lots of cafes, restaurants, shops around. Lots of parking spaces around, too. The beds are so comfy our home ones feel "meh" now. Rooms are very new and clean, cheap mini bar options. And the loveliest host lady who's super responsive, helpful, and nice. Will definitely come back!
Nice hotel in Sandanski downtown - just a minute walk to the Main Street with its shops, cafes and restaurants.
The rooms were big with balconies, the beds quite comfortable. Some of the rooms overlooked the park.
A free parking spot was provided, which was very convenient.
We visited in December. It's a nice hotel. The pools are with mineral water and quite nice. Some were open also outside, with only one (jacuzzi) hot enough for winter. Spa area was also nice with 2 saunas, steam bath, Turkish bath and salt room. Room was nice and clean.
Our room was really exceptional , the booking team at the hotel met all our requirements! Very spacious room , great balcony with river view, very clean, great bathroom with separate shower and bathtub facilities.

The hotel is in a central location, very close to the center. İt has a spacious air-conditioned living room with a comfortable sofa bed. The lady in charge was very friendly and hospitable. There was also a place to park the car.

Hotel reservation confirmed by booking. When I arrived in place at 4.00 in the morning I was told there were no rooms.
The stuff was not helpful no other explanations speaking only Bulgarian at least the one at the reception.
