In the center of Pleven and a privat parking place, the hotel appealed with an inviting, warm and friendly welcome. The hotel team was all time available and supported us for all planned aims. Cafés and restaurants were next to the hotel. The room was cushy, calm, commodious and moreover quite elegant furnished. A stay we can absolute recommend.

Very clean and quiet place! Really comfortable beads and something really important for me one big twin mattress which is some specific that owns me instead of two separate beads and mattress used for double bed at most of the hotels in Bulgaria. The restaurant under the hotel has absolutely authentic Italian tartoria’s vibe. Tasted food on fare price with friendly staff a perfect balance for such places.
Situated in the protected area of Kaylaka Park, Park Hotel Kaylaka is surrounded by a peaceful natural scenery. Landscaped garden includes a fountain and a bridge.

Staff in reception were very obliging . Always pleasant and helpful . The cleaners were very respectful , would always knock . Clean bedding every other day & fresh towels daily . Which was excellent for a 4 star . Staff in breakfast area were also very friendly .
Kaylaka park was lovely . We went in the little zoo for 2 levs which is about 60p . The bears were wonderful to see . Lots of cafes in the park and restaurants if you get hungry . Went out to see bat caves about a hr away , they were huge and interesting . There were waterfalls near by but it was such a wet day we didn’t get chance to see them . The town centre is lovely with its colourful buildings and fountains , these light up at night into beautiful colours . Again plenty of outdoor restaurants and shopping areas . Quite cheap to eat out compared to many European countries .

Pleven is beautiful city and it worth a visit. Positive people, and a lot of history. You can visit local wineries, also the museum of wine, The Pleven Panorama is awesome history landmark and its a must to visit when you are in town. City has numerous great restaurants, bars and night clubs for entertainment, also handful of pools for the summer fun, and awesome nature park called Kaylaka. PLeven for sure will not disappoint you.

Pleven can pleasantly surprise anyone who has not visited it.
Those who love museums and historical monuments could take 2 days to explore all that is in the city. The Pleven panorama is impressive, especially considering when it was done (1977). Kaylaka Park is great - well worth the walk. Storgosia Fortress is interesting, but only for those who like "climbing old forts".
Downtown also offers pretty good places to walk - the city garden is well-kept, and the central part is nice. The river is neglected and quite a few places are crying out for mowing, but overall the destination is worth it.
There are quite a few interesting sites nearby such as the Devetashka Cave and the Krushun waterfalls, you can also go to Belene or Nikopol.
In the evenings there is somewhere to go out to a bar, and there are other night spots in town.

Unless you enjoy fountains and some nice church architecture then there isn't much to see, but these two are spectacular. It's a nice stop off for a night between Bucarest and Sofia. There's plenty resturants around the center and it's east to walk around.

The hotel staff is very rude.
The hotel staff is very rude. Most of them do not understand English and Manager (Vasi) says guest should understand and speak Bulgarian. Clearly they do not want foreign guests in Hotel.
Wifi is worst and can not connect ever. Room are not clean, phone does work in room, Manager does not take action on complaint and does not listen also to guests concerns.
Breakfast was dry, stale and rubbish. Will not recommend for anyone to stay in the hotel
Calm. Cushy. Central.
Easy to find in the center of Pleven and enough privat parking places, the Theatre Hotel appealed with an inviting, warm and friendly welcome. The hotel team was all time available and supported us for all planned sight seeing tours, which are particularly within a walking distance to the hotel. Cafés and restaurants were also next to the hotel. The room was cushy, calm, commodious and moreover quite elegant furnished. A stay we can absolute recommend.
Everything is above the expectations - the staff, front desk, housekeeping, front guy.
All is perfect and correspond to 5 star service. In Bulgaria is very rare to find such a good hotel.
