IBIS with perfect location for travellers with car. Room is very nice with everything You need, parking is very safe and we park our big furgon without problem. Breakfast was very good and it is from 6a.m. Stuff is very friendly!

The room was comfy and good. I had the cleaner breathing down my neck cause I checked out right on 10am. This place lacked atmosphere, and the breakfast wasn't great.Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Although a town of fairly humble origins (agglomerated villages) it has a UNESCO world heritage site : the Four Lifts. I recommend cycling along the canal and admiring them. When following the canal, there is also, at Thieu, a magnificent view on the new Lift (which is gargantuan).
There are some decent restaurants in the centre of the town.

I stay in this hotel at least twice a year; it's just perfect for my needs, both personal travel and for work. Room size is just right, very comfortable, very well designed bathroom (unlike some places), the staff are amazing and it's perfectly located if you want to explore the region (very close to the motorway but far enough to not suffer from noise) or use it as a stopover.
Stayed in an apartment which was superb. Modern, clean, huge bed, comfy sofa, dining table & chairs, fully equipped kitchenette, fridge with freezer compartment, beautiful bathroom. It was much better than we were expecting and very welcome after a long day’s driving. Great value for money- not much more than a hotel room & we could prepare our own dinner, breakfast and drinks.
A very helpful young man at the reception helped in every way possible ,spoke very good english . Hotel located in the center of the city , many parking possibilites around the vicinity . The price was very good , the room was okay and clean ....Because it is located in the center , expect some wild shenanigans on the weekend in the streets .
