The room actually was good, no doubts. The staff also was nice, but that old guy defenitely not. 13 euros for 5 mins transfer, are you crazy?! Vending machines don't receive payment cards, is this hotel still in the stone age? The access to the hotel in the dark part of the day is definitely a big challenge especially for tired people. And breakfast: it's quite ok if this breakfast is called "1 million types of bread", but that's very good to eat breakfast since 4 a.m.

The location of this hotel was perfect for me, because it was just a couple of minutes walk from the train station, bus station and airport bus stop (you can see the train station in one of the photos, and the bus station/airport bus stop is just to the right of it). It was surprisingly quiet too, since the road in front is pedestrianised and then you have the river.
The main shopping area with a big modern shopping centre is just behind the hotel, and there are restaurants and bars in the area too.
The gentleman who checked me in was very pleasant and I was really happy to have a room overlooking the river.
The room was a nice size with a lovely big window. I slept well both nights I stayed there. The hotel is a little dated and shabby but I thought there was a nice feel about it, it had a friendly and safe-feeling atmosphere and the staff on reception were always friendly when I was going in and out of the hotel.
The hotel also had a lot of really good information about what's going on in the town/area. I think the local tourist information had made a really good job of this. I would be happy to stay here again.

Owner was so lovely! Room was very clean and spacious. Shuttle in the morning to the airport was great! Try and find the hotel email/mobile number via google to be able to contact them prior to arrival. Issues with booking.com messages being received. They can collect from the Q8 petrol station, just need to let them know.
