You have everything you need to eat, to sleep, to life in a wonderful cosy apartment at a nice place in the city. Everything is clean and works. We missed not a television. Time to speak with each other. News is possible to follow with the free internet. A nice place to start from here to visit a lot of cities nearby with car or by train (from Torhout, Ostend or Bruges)... Gistel is linked to Saint Godelieve - nice to discover the legend in the abbeye (film, museum, chappel, ...) and the local church - good stop for food (all sorts) - ideal place to stay if you want to be close to the sea, and the historical Bruges, and love biking through the fileds along canals... - surprises like historcial wind mills, and brand new, mini "neerhof" etc
A very interesting proposition for guests wanting to relax during their travels in the pleasant and unique atmosphere of a peaceful Belgian village. The owners are very friendly, and the breakfast is very good. The spacious room is clean and comfortable. The view from the window is simply spectacular: sheep grazing on lush green grass, fields stretching to the horizon, and in the distance, the tower of a charming church. Convenient parking right under the hotel. We recommend this property with full confidence.
The room was as I liked. Simple and comfortable clean and tidy. I couldn't have expected any more. The hotel is classically old and furnished to suit. No modern rubbish. Such as a TV, not required.
