Doesn't look too fancy, but this is a very good hotel. Capable staff. Special mention for the friendly housekeeping. Also the L'occitane soaps. It's little things like these that sets it apart. Cramped but gated parking. Well-situated. Good breakfast too. We book here again when we're in Sarajevo.

Sarajevo could be described as a captivating oasis of European cities, where East meets West in an integration of diverse cultures and a fascinating history mixed with a fresh cosmopolitan and charismatic vibe.
A museum in itself, Sarajevo is a sightseeing and history lover’s haven from the numerous mosques, churches and synagogues, to historic landmarks such as Sarajevo War Tunnel and Latin Bridge. Afterwrads, you could wander through the Old Town, which is a world on its own.
Sarajevo’s cultural diversity means a large selection of local delicacies. Be sure to visit Sarajevo’s historic and cultural hub Baščaršija bazaar, an ancient trading place with cafés, restaurants, cosy bars, art, and loads of accommodation options.
Booking.com has a great range of apartments, hotels and hostels located in the heart of the city and near Sarajevo International Airport.
Sarajevo is for two days (one night) for me. It is relatively small so you can see everything in two days. It is multicultural and the contrast of this multicultural vibe is interesting. The old town is not clean unfortunately and people or the authorities need to do something about it. The old market is a good place to have a walk and buy some souvenirs but it is packed and we stayed out of it for the most part. The river walk was nice but as I said before it was dirty. Best places to eat and drink are not in the old market for me at least. Sarajevo has a lot of potential to be an amazing destination but it needs a lot of attention.

For people who own a vehicle or rent one, it's easy to get by. See ahead the attractions on any phone-based map, hit start and it will take you there. Good food, great parks, the river spring. People are not perfect like anywhere else, but still very welcoming people. You'll be fine with English anywhere you go.

Sarajevo holds the most beautiful and most painful reminders of Jugoslavia and it's worth to visit and explore it. Hold on to your tissues with you for some very emotional stories of the city's siege. History museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a must see, both for exhibition but also for the beautiful building itself.

Sarajevo is a city with soul and one with a rich, albeit sometimes very sad, history. There are quite a few museums to visit, beautiful architecture to see and lots of fantastic restaurants, bars and cafes to enjoy the outstanding local food, drink and sweets in.

I enjoyed touring the Sarajevo 1878 - 1918 Museum which provides repeated videos of the Austrian administration and the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The videos are partly subtitled in English. The displays are equally impressive. Another Sarajevo museum is the Brusa Bezistan, a local history museum. It is notable for the model of Sarajevo in 1878. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the vast pedestrain walking area. As for transport, the trams are run on one way streets which run on both sides of the pedestrain area. I recommend the third museum, namely the Olympic Museum which provides repeated films of the Sarajevo Winter Olympic Games which shows a clip of the gold medal winners Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean's winning ice skating performances. Finally I recommend that the Sarajevo City Hall is worth visiting on account of the impressive interior decorations.

Impossible to summarise as I did not have enough time.
Impossible to summarise as I did not have enough time. A wonderful impression of people, culture, clothing, a mix of European, 20th C Yugoslavian style, Turkic (Ottoman) and Serbian styles too.
I would like to return. Service in cafes know to treat to customers and everyone is fluent in English
I loved this hotel for many reasons and the most important is the friendliness of the staff. They really made me feel comfortable and at home.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had a small balcony as well. Also, I loved the breakfast that includes some Bretzel like bread that I loved. And Bosnian paprika spread... Yummy.
Also, I am writing this review from the taxi they called for me to go to the airport after allowing me to have a late checkout and keeping my backpack.
Thank you once again ❣️❣️❣️
Valida, together with her husband, is demonstrating you what true Bosnian hospitality looks like ! You will feel like at home from the second you enter this lovely family run hotel. We spent an amazing weekend in Sarajevo, their amazing breakfast (which they fully prepare by themselves) is just superb, in every other details they always make an extra mile ! I am highly recommending the place and I know where I will stay on my next trip to Sarajevo !
The apartment is beautiful and big and it is located in the center of the city .I am very impressed. Everything is new, clean, comfortable and warm.. In the simplest terms, it is really luxurious for the booking price. I also had a parking space. The owner is very helpful and wants everything help and guide about Sarajevo. I am very satisfied and Happy. Recommendation for all members ♡
VERY nice and modern building. Lobby was small but very nice and luxurious, especially for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Room was very clean and well-lit. Mini bar was a nice touch and had reasonable prices.
My favorite part of the room was actually the bathroom--so clean and modern with a LARGE shower and appropriate toiletries.
Bed was comfortable and I did not notice too much noise.
My wife and I arrive at the hotel at 8.30 in the morning and the manager Mr Mustafa allowed us to check-in with no extra charges.
Our room was big and comfortable. The breakfast was superb with lots of choices offered including local Bosnian dish.
We love the hotel and would definitely stay again should we visit Sarajevo again.
Very friendly staff. Free parking. Clean room.
Beware that in Bosnia I experienced smoking in the buildings so you know. No problem för me. Hotel is near airport but little far away from centrum. Taxi 25-35 mints. I arrived late so no restaurant nearby at that time. Not hotel, s fault. Good coffee in the cafe in the hotel.
Located in the centre of old town, close to everything you want to see in Sarajevo. The design idea is nice, “old fashion” but Bosnian style inspired. We booked last minute which was a big plus. You have also a small kitchen, so you can have a coffee or anything in your room. Late check-out is also a plus.
It was the first booking experience. All amenities are available in the apartment. It's nice to be close to the city center. The owner is very involved. I think the best feature of the apartment is quiet. I was satisfied with all the service. If I come to Bosnia again, I would prefer this place.
It was warm there, not like in other houses we´ve been to so far. Everything was perfectly clean, hosts were very welcoming and didn´t have problem with us changing arrival time multiple times because we had a lot of work and traffic. :) Probably best place for 4 people I´ve been to in Bosnia. :)
The staff have been very kind and helpful. The hotel is on a great location, my room was very clean, comfortable and quiet, which you need for a work trip. The staff helped me book a car to the airport as my flight was very early. All in all, a great stay and I would definitely come back.
The house was really clean. We stayed two nights in a suite room and we loved the view and the house was in a good location with nice crew and car parking. I don't know about other rooms but i love the suite if i go to Bosnia again i will stay there again. Thank you for the warm welcome.
Hotel is very small but on great location, only few minutes away from old town ''Baš čaršija''. Housts are very friendly and helful, we got very usful information about taxi and Diner location. Base on their recomendation we visit Kiba mahala restaurant with great autentic Bosnian food.
Very nice hotel that is located at the old city center. The staff was wonderful. I do not have enough kind words to thank them. We were caught in Bosnia in a very difficult personal situation. The staff was very helpful and supportive. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
Breakfast was fantastic, the freshly made omelette, bosnian coffee and fresh fruit were the perfect start to my days exploring. The staff is very kind, hospitable and helpfull. The hotel to me felt like being a guest in someone's home. A big thank you to all the staff.
Location, location, location! The room was clean and we had everything one would need for a short-term stay. Communication with the hosts was smooth. They were always at our disposal. All in all, a place that I would always book.
the location excellent, the staff very helpful, they try to help you they don't say no we cant. and respectful the hotel over view clean, the breakfast simple, it is better to eat outside to discover Bosnia breakfast.
Moj izbor svakog puta kad sam u Sarajevu. Sjajna lokacija, ljubazno osoblje i moderan enterijer soba i restorana. Nemojte zabici da probate i hranu u restoranu koji je u sklopu hotela.
-Location is amazing, right next to the cathedral.
-The owner is nice and helpful, he even helped us book a restaurant as we didn't have a Bosnian mobile number.
