The owners were immediately welcoming, spoke fluent English. We were treated to a Grappa and given lots of information about the area. Lovely evening meal, made to feel as if we were old friends. Comfortable and clean . Unexpected fantastic breakfast especially given the price we paid for the accommodation. Fully recommend to anyone visiting the area. Right on the Ciro trail. The View of the Mountains was very nice y escpacially in the morning. Also the Pool was very pleasuareable. Every room has its own bathroom, shower and TV.

It was really spacious and convenient going to both sides of dubrovnik and Bosnia. You can see the border from the balcony. We booked 6 nights from out 11 nights holiday and thought we would move to split after 6 night but ended up deciding to stay here. The owners are really sweet especially the mother even if u have to use google translate most of the time!

Our first encounter with La Hacienda DD was 2 years ago. We were first met by the owner's son who handled all the practical matters, then our stay was taken over by the nice elderly lady who also lives on the ground floor of the house. We can only send our warmest recommendations to the place and only hope others want to stay at La Hacienda DD - you will not be disappointed. You get a large apartment with lots of beds (we were 2 adults and 3 children). There is a small kitchen where you can cook if you wish. In total, there is a large walk, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms as well as a large terrace. The place has a pool, but it's not really used, so don't be disappointed when you see the pool but can't use it. In terms of location, it is a few kilometers outside the city of Trebinje itself. but that didn't matter to us at all as we had our own car. The place is also close to the well-known water park that dominates the city. Finally, remember that there is a monastery right near La Hacienda DD, where you can buy wine produced at the monastery. The wine should be one of the best in the region. We will definitely come back again
