There are so many activities to experience during a Jiindabyne summer. Hiking is boundless, mountain biking is breath-taking, there are multiple craft breweries to visit and so many swimming spots along the lakefront. Hiring kayaks and fishing equipment is also possible but we ran out of time!!

I recommend staying at Jindabyne for the summer and winter seasons. The drive to Thredbo is a quick drive. The roads are cleared in snow season, we didn’t need to use the chains. Parking is easy and there’s free busses to the ski lifts. No need to stay in Thredbo. Jindabyne is much cheaper and has restaurants and the supermarket. I would never stay in Thredbo again. The supermarket is tiny and expensive in Thredbo. We stayed on the lake in a cabin which was perfect. We go for mountain biking in the summer and snowboarding in winter.

Jindabyne is a nice and quiet place to have a short break during the summer. The lake is good for water activities, and being positioned at the foot of the mountains means day trips to Thredbo and Perisher/Charlotte Pass is an easy run. There are plenty of places still open to eat and a full supermarket for any other needs. There are also other activities going on in Jindabyne and the Snowy Mountains through the summer, so google to see what's on and when.

Jindabyne is like a poor cousin toQueenstown NZ.

Jindabyne is like a poor cousin toQueenstown NZ. Nothing much happens off-season, but it is picturesque and a great jumping off point to Kosciouszko National Park. There's a little coffee shop, Jindabyne F2, very good hot chocolate. But the brasserie at Banjo Patterson on the main drag was disappointing. And the carpark at Nugget's Crossing Shopping Centre is a nightmare.

It was a great place to stay although a warning when planning a trip for those on blood thinning medication, please factor in the altitude may have an effect on you!! It did for me with breathing and pressure on my body, although each person is unique and may be affected in different ways. You might not have any problems, just be aware of the possibility. Beautiful views, great walking track around the lake and lovely sights of Thredbo and Perisher not far away.

It was a very scenic place. Good place for ski hire. The only let down was the restaurants. They were too expensive like $28 for 10 pieces of pasta with only pasta. The Japanese restaurant need a booking to enter.

Loved the room - it was really nicely fitted out, both in how it looked and the clever way the space was laid out. We were really happy with the price we paid for such a great room. The included buffet breakfast was also great - really good selection of hot and cold food that set us up perfectly for the day. The location in central Jindabyne was perfect to access the lake and shops and the in-house dining options were good. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Location is central to everything in Jindabyne and a good base for snow activities, shopping, visitors centre, movies, dining etc. The foyer area with the fire is a great place to relax with a book and Joshua at reception was always friendly. Beds were comfortable and our loft room was nicely set out, if a little dated. The shower was lovely and warm, perfect after a day in the snow, and the central heating kept the room a comfortable temperature.

I stayed here for 16 days whilst snowboarding at Perisher. Nice location, walking distance to the lake and Jindabyne town centre. The town is really cute and all the people are really friendly and great. Efficient service & great communication by Raine & Horne Snowy Mountains real estate agents. The landlord installed nbn which was nice to have wifi, Netflix and Stan.

Chalet Jindabyne exceeded our expectations with super clean, comfortable and warm rooms. The chalet was well appointed with plenty of relaxing spaces, dinning rooms & BBQ facilities and a drying room. Breakfast was fresh, varied and there was plenty of it. I am currently booking my return visit!

Really nice and clean hotel, with very convenience location to some amazing restaurants nearby in the same block, and ski hire 3 mins walk away. Very close to the route up the snow. Highly recommend. Super friendly and helpful staff. Easy late check in and early check out options.

Modern pleasant space. Cosy and comfy. Nice bed and pillows. All the amenities you need plus parking. Ive tried multiple hotels and motels in Jindy over the last few years and this is quite easily the best place I've stayed, even if its a bit further away from the town centre.

Absolutely nothing to like here advertised as jindabyne but was east jindabyne . It had nothing local and very hard to drive around at night as it's so dark. Did not expect this at all. Had no facilities and was advertised as a hotel.. huge disappointment. Ruined our stay.

All rooms have views over Lake Jindabyne. Whilst they are not big our rooms had king beds and they were very comfortable. The motel is part of a larger complex and has a full service hotel with a restaurant/bistro and bar area.

Great place to stay just outside of the centre of jindabyne. Amazing breakfast, just wished it opened earlier than 7am in the whole ski season! (I understand it only opens at 6.30am during “peak” season - July and August)
