Jeannie the hostess is an amazing person. I had originally booked online but needed to extend my stay. I called Jeannie greeted me warmly and told me to come on over! I'm from the US and my adapter didn't work. She lent me one and an iPhone charger I needed the lightning port instead of the USB I had! She also offered an umbrella on one rainy day. What a genuinely sweet woman! When I asked for advice about restaurants and nearby attractions, without hesitation she jotted names and numbers down and gave amazing verbal directions as well. After the first two nights I checked out to fly to Sydney for five days. Again without hesitation she allowed me to store my large suitcase in the luggage room. When I returned late in the evening for the remaining days of my stay at the Box Hill Motel I figured I would need to wait till the next morning to retrieve the case, but low and behold, there it was in my new room along with the borrowed electrical adapter! <3
I was sad to leave. An unwelcoming hostess can put a damper on a vacation. How fortunate I was to land here and would recommend this lovely place to anyone.

Excellent in all aspects at motel .. we like the suction fan in shower that could dry up the floor … but we wd definitely have preferred more hooks and handles for towels, clothing etc in shower area (didn’t include this point earlier)

The Burwood East Motel is conveniently situated a short walk from the Burwood One shopping centre with all kinds of shops and eateries on site.
Across the intersection of Burwood Highway and Blackburn Road is a service station with a convenience store, and there is a tram service into the city going along the Burwood Highway, a one minute walk from the motel.
Great value for the money. Convenient suburban location. Close to shops and restaurants. Attention to detail - the right number of plates, silverware, towels, etc. Too often we find breakages and losses don't get replaced at many motels/hotels . Not the case here. Will definitely stay again when back in Melbourne.
I am a repeat visitor.The location is perfect for my needs when in Burwood the Motel is just off the highway.

The facilities were fantastic for staying with family. Absolutely everything one could need was there, from dishwasher to washing machine, as well as all the things you'd expect from a hotel like soaps, towels and other amenities like lockbox etc.
Very well-equipped and clean. Location is amazing in the Burwood-Box Hill area in terms of access with Deakin University 6 mins walk away and Tram 75 into Melbourne’s city center.

the room met our expectations. It was, however, over priced. But this over-pricing seems to be common for motels / hotels in Victoria and NSW since Covid came into our lives. Is this an excuse for jacking up prices?
Such a great location and loved the layout of the apartment, extremely comfortable with all amenities and a very comfy bed which is unusual! I will certainly stay here again if I come to Burwood.
