Jeannie the hostess is an amazing person. I had originally booked online but needed to extend my stay. I called Jeannie greeted me warmly and told me to come on over! I'm from the US and my adapter didn't work. She lent me one and an iPhone charger I needed the lightning port instead of the USB I had! She also offered an umbrella on one rainy day. What a genuinely sweet woman! When I asked for advice about restaurants and nearby attractions, without hesitation she jotted names and numbers down and gave amazing verbal directions as well. After the first two nights I checked out to fly to Sydney for five days. Again without hesitation she allowed me to store my large suitcase in the luggage room. When I returned late in the evening for the remaining days of my stay at the Box Hill Motel I figured I would need to wait till the next morning to retrieve the case, but low and behold, there it was in my new room along with the borrowed electrical adapter! <3
I was sad to leave. An unwelcoming hostess can put a damper on a vacation. How fortunate I was to land here and would recommend this lovely place to anyone.

Excellent in all aspects at motel .. we like the suction fan in shower that could dry up the floor … but we wd definitely have preferred more hooks and handles for towels, clothing etc in shower area (didn’t include this point earlier)

The Burwood East Motel is conveniently situated a short walk from the Burwood One shopping centre with all kinds of shops and eateries on site.
Across the intersection of Burwood Highway and Blackburn Road is a service station with a convenience store, and there is a tram service into the city going along the Burwood Highway, a one minute walk from the motel.
The hotel was good for us as we needed somewhere that allowed pets and was close to Upwey in the Dandenong Ranges. We liked the facilities. There was a dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer and a place to cook breakfast each morning. We tended to go out for dinner in the surrounding suburbs. The parking was a great option for us as we drove to Melbourne and could park under cover and be in our room in a minute. Overall we thought this hotel was very convenient and we will come back again.
Overall first impressions….fantastic. The room location was perfect with an great modern look. Internally the space was perfect, had all amenities & great facilities to accommodate. Cleanliness was 10/10, bathroom was immaculate. Great outdoor balcony with an amazing city view from the room. Parking was convenient, location was quite & very safe. Large hallways & lifts. Affordable & well priced. Highly recommend, great hotel & team at Quest Burwood East.
From the get go Quest Burwood East impressed! Alex was very polite and helpful when checking us in. fast check in is always appreciated and good information provided meant we didn’t have to ask reception for anything.
A lovely note was left for us in our room, as well as an adorable Christmas treat.
Comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen, spacious and clean. wonderful water pressure. And best of all, our dog was able to stay with us.
Great value for the money. Convenient suburban location. Close to shops and restaurants. Attention to detail - the right number of plates, silverware, towels, etc. Too often we find breakages and losses don't get replaced at many motels/hotels . Not the case here. Will definitely stay again when back in Melbourne.

This is a truly outstanding hotel, feels like home and a nature reserve in the backyard with kukkaburras & magpies, cicadas buzzing a sparkling inground pool.
The room is very spacious and the shower strong & powerful. Very crisp and clean with open windows, fresh air and peaceful.
Such a great location and loved the layout of the apartment, extremely comfortable with all amenities and a very comfy bed which is unusual! I will certainly stay here again if I come to Burwood.

The apartment was clean and facilities were good. It was perfectly located for us to use public transport from the city (1h tram) and to attend a party in Burwood.
Rooms are cleaned early and the staff led by Carol are superb. i will not hesitate to recommend this motel to other travellers to the Burwood area of melbourne.
