This is the 13th year skiing in Westendorf, it is by far the most family friendly resort I have come across. The ski schools are excellent, the restaurants on the mountain are very reasonably priced and the variety of skiing available for your annual trip is fantastic, there are seldom queues at the lifts and while some seasons the snowfall across europe is less than wished for the snow making facilities ensure all pistes are open.

I liked the friendliness of the local people. The variety of the restaurants in the village. The great mountain trails. The ease of getting to Munich by train. The tourist office staff in the villages were very well informed.
We stayed in the upper apartment which was spotlessly clean and perfect for 7 people (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and one sofa in the living room that isn’t foldable), having also a great terrace and amazing views to the valley. Kitchen full of all necessary items to cook, parking right in front of the apartment. Lots of interesting attractions & super tourist areas in Westendorf and nearby, you cannot get bored at all 😁 I strongly recommend this staying, great hosts too, looking to coming back soon! 🤗
Spacious apartment, excellent furniture. TV in every room. Super fast internet. Huge balconies overlooking the mountains with a table and chairs. Kitchen with all necessary new equipment. Living room with comfortable sofas. Spa area with Turkish bath and sauna and a comfortable relaxation area. Large parking near the house. Ski room with good boot dryer. And most importantly - a hospitable host who maintains the high standards of this family business, which is already a hundred years old!
Lovely place to stay, very clean & comfortable with amazing views. Everything you need is provided with full cooking facilities, dishwasher, balcony to sit out on plus much more.
Very friendly owners who are always available should you need anything else etc.
Was made to feel very much at home & location is good too being about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Westendorf & a 15 minute walk to the train station.
Overall, highly recommend a stay here & I will be returning as soon as I can!
Beautiful mountain view apartment, clean with everything I needed for the week I’ve been skiing. Perfect for self-catering or walking distance to everything (ski lifts, restaurants, shops, town centre, etc.). Very friendly and helpful owner, checked whether everything was ok and even gave me a lift in his car to the ski lift when I bumped into him one morning.
The Penthouse was beautiful and my family (3 small children) and friends were comfortable our whole time. The view and surrounding Westendorf was lovely. The kitchen had a stove top and convection oven/microwave combo along with the cooking tools needed.
Coffee maker was regular Nespresso pods👌
We had no issues with heat and slept well.
The staff is very nice and helpful. Apartment’s cozy, with all the appliances, including dishwasher. You can order fresh bread and croissants, and they will be at your door in the morning. The swimming and the Spa area is amazing specially after a day o skiing. In a walking distance of the ski lifts. We just liked everything.
Super friendly staff who made our stay very comfortable. They suggested to make breakfast packages so we could leave earlie for our travel home. Also in the après ski the owner and his staff entertained us a lot. The location of the facility was really nice, close to the center and close to the ski slopes.
Location was excellent, easy short walk to the Alpenrosen gondola to take you straight up to the vast skiing areas, and also into town which has some lovely restaurants.
Beautifully appointed apartment for 4 with a balcony. It was really comfortable, felt luxurious and had very good quality facilities.
Comfortable, clean and modern Pension located a couple of minutes walk from the village centre. The hosts were wonderful - welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great. There was a spacious ski and boot room and parking right outside the property. Would highly recommend.
fantastic ski flat, close to town and close to the ski lift. really clean, comfortable bed, lots of towels, hot shower, very quiet - exactly what you want! this flat is the top floor of the owners’ very nice modern house and they are really friendly and nice people.
Lovely and clean appartment. Close to all the shops you need and the first small skilift. You can ski from this lift to the ‘Alpenrosebahn’ gondle. would definitely come back here!
