Great location right by train stop from airport shuttle so no lugging luggage through city. It was what I expected from a Hilton - great comfort and decor, spotless, good facilities etc. A good place from which to explore the city. Good system for left luggage.

Easy to walk around, our hotel was 5 minute walk from Stephansdom and 10 to the Hofburg Palace so very easy to get to main attractions. We went for the Christmas markets which were easy to locate and with lots of interesting stalls and food and hot drinks! Markets quieter during the day but more atmospheric after dark. Bus, tram and train around city easy to use and the three routes of the hop on hop off bus take you to all the attractions. Went to listen to a string quartet at Peterskirche we thought it was good value and the acoustics were fabulous.

A beautiful cultural city.
A beautiful cultural city. We took a train from Prague to Vienna and enjoyed the ride (about 4 hours). The city itself is just 'classy'. We enjoyed Musikverein Concert, and the Spanish Riding School, and just wandering the streets. Unfortunately couldn't afford to eat 5 star, but enjoyed the Gasthaus food and of course the schnitzels, sacher torte, coffee etc

The Viennese are some of the friendliest, warm, and authentic people I've encountered. Each time I visit Vienna I discover something new thanks to the spontaneous conversations.
A little restaurant a short walk from our lodging was just one of those amazing finds. The staff and food at Wiener were amazing as is its history. When you visit ask about the gold record.
oh, and you are in for a treat if you visit after mid-November. The holiday decorations, Christmas markets, and punsch are truly memorable.

Spacious rooms that were clean. The bathroom was large and immaculate. The breakfast was wonderful with a huge array of options. The location is right next to Schönbrunn Palace which was nice. The city centre was a few stops away on the train but this was no issue as there was metro direct line literally 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The overall feel of the hotel was old-style grandeur which was a perfect stay for Vienna.
We booked this hotel due to its location close to the centre of Vienna, and the relatively low cost for the room. The hotel is very old and arguably in need of a refurbishment. The room was very basic but did the job. The best thing is the location within walking distance to the metro and the city centre, but if I were you I would shop around for a better solution for your stay within the price range this hotel offers.
Pension Neuer Markt is in an excellent location in the heart of Vienna city centre. Everywhere is reachable on foot and the hotel is beside an underground station. It really is a perfect location. The staff were friendly and at breakfast there was plenty of food and a good selection to choose from. The beds were comfortable.
Location is perfect! Close to the city centre but very calm at the same time. The Harmonie Vienna is a very clean hotel with attentive friendly and helpful personnel. There was big choice of dishes at breakfast and everything was absolutely delicious! My heartily recommendations to choose this hotel!
Leonardo Hotel in Vienna is big professional hotel, almost business trip feel-alike. The time of check out is very convenient (11-12). Also the location of the hotel is great, it s not only close to train/bus station but close to belvedere and city centre.
