Beautiful location, next to a small pond and half way up a mountain. Lovely forested walks on the doorstep.
Classic, traditional Alpine hotel with loads of character and charm.
Friendly and helpful staff.
I had the half board option and the evening meal each night was delicious and extremely varied. Fantastic!
My bedroom was simply decorated, but the bed extremely comfortable . The water pressure and water temperature in the shower great. My room was extremely quiet. The WiFi generally worked well. Overall a lovely stay. Would recommend.

Really friendly gentlemen that dealt with us. Apartment is well located for doing a tour of nearby ski resorts, you've got a couple of nice restaurants and a good supermarket within easy walking distance. Good parking also (for a reasonable sized car)

Alpen Hertz Romantic hotel was one of the best in our long history of skiing. The hotel is clean, looks new, the rooms are large and the hotel is close to the ski slopes. Excellent food. Dinner menu is wide: you can choose meat, fish or vegan dishes. The food is lovingly prepared, like in good restaurants. Plenty of vegetables. Large spa area at no extra cost. The swimming pool is open 24 hours a day. Plenty of different temperatures and types of sauna. Every evening there are sauna programmes organised by experienced masters. There is an outdoor pool. There is a large relaxation area. There is a separate area where you can get body and facial massages and other treatments for an extra charge. The hotel tries to organise additional entertainment for its guests, so that every evening is not a boring one. There is a bar area where you can sit with company during the day and in the evening, have a tasty drink or an extra snack. There is enough space for parking. There is a large room for storing skis and drying boots. A great, quiet, luxurious hotel

An extremely quite town, with little to no nightlife.
An extremely quite town, with little to no nightlife. Restaurants and coffee bars were closed on Sundays and public holidays.
At least the scenery was quite nice, with high mountains surrounding every side of the city. Hiking was good, even though the local cableway (Venetbahn) was closed. We opted for a hiking trail heading to a village called Fliess, on a sunny terrace with a beautiful view on the Kaunerberge.

Myself, wife and son took a 16 day trip from the UK through Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This hotel and stay were the highlight of our trip. The hotel was the best we stayed at, the staff were extremely helpful, the continental breakfast excellent and the owner went out of his way to ensure we seen all the local high lights. Our only regret " we did not stay longer! If we do this trip again we will use this hotel as a base to visit the region.
Staff was great and we felt at home, we only booked breakfast but it was enough and to our satisfaction. Rooms were nice and clean. You can get to all the major ski spots in this part of Tirol within 25 minutes. Ski St Anton 26km, Skigebiet See im Paznauntal 16km and Ischgl approximately 28km. And the Rifenalbahn right there in Landeck just 3,5km away from the hotel location. But our highlight was the Skipiste Kappl just 20 min away from hotel, amazing Ski spot with huge Playpark and Ski school for little kids in 2,200m above.
The property was one of the best we have stayed in Austria. Great location for visiting numerous ski resorts.
The owners made us feel extremely welcoming and always checking to see if we had everything we needed.
Kitchen well equipped, sofa comfortable, plenty of hot water for a shower and the large bed was also comfortable.
Great views across the valley and the opportunity to sit out on a nice day.
We would highly recommend and we hope to return.
The hotel exceeded our expectations in how beautiful it was. It was far nicer in person than it was in the photos. The location was great for Landeck, right on the main shopping street and a close walk to the bus station (if needed). The restaurant in the hotel was excellent as well - and we also enjoyed breakfast one day, which was great. We came to Landeck to visit some friends - and when we return, we will stay here again.
Cozy hotel in a small Tyrolean town. Very good hotel restaurant - Das Landegger. Might be more "relevant" for winter visits. But for a short summertime visit to the western part of the Tyrolean Mountains, you probably can't find a much better place either. Apparently it is ideal for "doing" the mountains in terms of hiking and biking if the number mountain bikers visiting is anything to go by :-)
Super clean apartment and very attentive host. The house has everything you need and is spacious and clean. They had enough toys to keep our son entertained and also a nice playground in the yard. We will definitely come back to this place when we are traveling to Austria.
really nice and well equipped Appartement in a very nice Typical Austrian house. Beds are really comfortable, the sofa bed as well. The apartment is decorated with taste for detail, it is spacious, comfy and well isolated from cold and noise. we will definitely return!
Wonderful welcome by the Zangerl family.
Exceptional breakfast with delicious homemade jams and breads, as well as fresh eggs straight from the barn.
Strategic location for nearby skiing resorts, amongst the best in the whole Alps.
Location in historic town of Landeck.
We spent three nights in a beautiful apartment in the centrum of Landeck. The apartment was clean, all was prepared for our stay. In every bedroom and living room, you can watch TV with many TV services such as Netflix or Prime Video.
Perfect for travellers with bicycles. The hotel has an easily accessible garage for bicycles. Even bicycle tools are availabe there. Very good restaurant. Very good breakfast. The staff was exeptionally friendly a d helpful.
the rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable with great beds and nice bathroom. the location is good and there is free parking in front of the hotel. We didn't try the breakfast so we don't know about that.
The staff was fantastic I really appreciate it Alex giving me information on on a side trip it was worth it it. It was just a stopover between Munich and return but so happy we detoured and went through Austria.
The staff was very kind and helped a lot organizing some walking tours. The Schnitzel was excellent, and the breakfast was very good, with an enormous choice of food. Big free parking right at the hotel!
Cozy room, very spacious and great location. The owner, Alex, assistants on any subject, gave helpful tips on places. Thank you Alex for your kindness in helping with the lockdown in Austria
