My dad and I were traveling from the UK to Romania and we decided to stop to sleep the night in a motel and we found this one. We really liked how easy the check in and check out were. The room was cosy and very clean, the bed was comfortable and the food restaurant was lovely.
However, the staff spoke little to no english, the menus were only in german and the breakfast was limited to basic stuff.
Apart from that, for what we needed, it was the right choice and if there are no language barriers, it is even better.

Hainburg is rich in history.
Hainburg is rich in history. It is very recommendable to do a city tour. We enjoyed walking to Schlossberg and driving up Braunsberg. There are lots of biking and biking opportunities. It’s close by the Roman town Carnuntum, Bratislava and Schloss Hof.

We had a beautiful, modern appartement. Perfect beds, the products ik the bathroom were all organic, you have really everything you need! We informed the hotel that we will arrive late and they send us a check-in link for payment by email. After that we got a QR code to enter and as back-up they left the keycards in the volt in front of the entrance. Chechout was easy, we just put the cards back in the volt. Perfect stay!
Good location. Very close to the air port, Less than 40 minutes. Just 20km to Bratislava. Not so far and walkable to the city center and a big shopping center. Close to the riverbank. Walking along Danube River is very impressive. Traditional but clean and well equipped room. Fine view through the window. Really enjoyed perfect atmosphere of the hotel.
the place is huge , very clean, very quit.the staff like to help for any questions. there is also spa- very clean, including what you need in spa. the breakfast- one of the best , i have eaten in hotels, over 40 years. the bath is ok, good pressure, hot& cold water.
free parking.
nice place to traveling or make sport, bicycle.
I visited the place a day before my return flight. It was a perfect place to stay before the flight, the room was large and comfortable. The place seems brand new with a stylish bathroom. Near the hotel, there is a small airport for small planes, and the scenery viewed from the window is mostly green and beautiful.
Reception really friendly. Rooms are big and quite. 9 km away from Bratislava city center (10 mins driving). 40 mins away by train (the train station is across the hotel) to Vienna city center. Restaurant had good quality food (breakfast was generous and the a la carte was also good). Free parking.
The staff was absolutely wanderful, friendly and very helpful. We had the breakfast at the hotel, with both kids, ages 3 yo and 6 months. We had a great meal. The room was tidy and clean. Plenty of space even with 2 kids. We would definitely come back at this property anytime.
Altes Kloster is a hotel in a former monastery complex near the town center. The room we booked was very large and comfortable. We could manage the unusually high temperatures during our stay by having windows open and a fan was provided in the room. The breakfast was good.
The location beside the tracks surprised me BUT the hotel was a delightful surprise.
The courtyard suggested another era. However, my room was perfect for me
AND the dining room ( and buffet breakfast) was excellent. Would return in a minute...
Great location with free of charge parking just a few meters from the hotel. Nice building renovated with good style. It's an excellent starting point for a bike tour to Bratislava or Vienna with some nice hiking tracks in the neighborhood.
Charming hotel with so much character and really beautiful bedroom, with gorgeous antique furniture. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and check we had everything we needed.
Very nice staff, the lady responsible for the reception and restaurant was very kind and friendly (speaks German, Slovak and Hungarian). The dinner was very good. Free parking just opposite the hotel.
The hotel is a renovated old monastery. It has high ceilings and rebuild rooms. Location is the heart of Hainburg so you can easily get anywhere - to riverwalk or old town.
