We stayed just one night in transit, and we arrived late in the day. We booked a room with a spa. Having that spa pool in the room was amazing, especially as we arrived late, and usually, the shared spa would already be closed for use. Staff was super welcoming.
The location was beautiful and just on the lake Ohrid. Amazing view from the room from all angles as 2 walls overlook the lake, and they are fully covered in windows. Even the spa has a lake and mountain view.
Buffet breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant on the terrace over the lake with a gorgeous view.
Nesspreso coffee machine was a pleasure, and planty of pods to use were provided plus some chocolates. Will come again when we are on that side of the world.

I loved the location, the cleanliness, and the decorations. I didn't like that it was so cold inside the house. There was only heat in one room. We also did not have cleaning or cooking supplies. No kitchen towels, no salt or pepper, nothing to wash the dishes. The towels provided were not of sufficient size for a shower. I loved that the host was very accommodating and called us back every time we needed something.

This is a tiny town in the mountains, and it's located on the bank of Ohrid Lake.
It's clean (as for Albania), calm and friendly.
It has bars (I recommend Sherlock), fish markets with fresh fish (you should try Koran here, it's an Ohrid salmon) and the clearest lake (ohhhh, lake water is very clean and transparent).
Visit Taverna Ladi if you want to try a hood fish for a reasonable price.
The town is highly safe, so you can walk in the streets any time of day and night.
It's a perfect place for families w/wo kids, who love to observe great views, drink good wine and feel life in a calm manner.
Relax on the beach of Ohrid lake.
You'll never forget its crystal-clean and transparent water.
The beach is sandy, and it is equipped with umbrellas and deckchairs.
I really recommend visiting this town.
From here you can also go to town Ohrid (in Macedonia) or to the town Korca (it's a well-known Albanian town).
From Pogradec you can get to Tirana by bus.
To Macedonia you can get only by rental car or taxi.

It is a small town and above all it offers you a cool and peaceful stay. The restaurants serve deliciuos food in reasonable prices.
You can walk to the beach, restaurants ,bars ,You hardly come across thieves and the parks are always clean and safe.
Maybe some private beaches should play less loud music.

Pogradec is a very nice and quiet town on the southeast part of Albania. It is near the Ohrid lake and it is well known in Albania for the lake fish which is found only in this area. It is a town which is very frequented especially during summer due to its cool and fresh climate.

Nice people, nice environment. Everything within walking distance. Attractions for children, rental offices, good restaurants and cafes. The sandy beaches are equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas for a small fee. Unfortunately, there was a mess in the water on the beaches, which no one tried to clean up.

I like this city with nice aranged walking areas by the lake, extra long beach, market's, shops and restaurants, kids park's, offers for boat trips... Amazing place for families, couples, kids, older people, young people... for everyone and the most important thing is that Pogradec is excellent in every season, not just in Summer. You don't need car all day. Everything is walking distance.
Very friendly and welcoming family with servicable attitude (nothing is too much). Very clean everywhere, room was very comfortable. Free boat tour included which was really nice (similar boat tour with locals would cost 10EUR). I was able to use the washing machine which was really great since we are on a 2 week trip and then be able to wash our clothes after 1 week and have everything clean again. The heating was provided by a powerful ground airconditioner and in the bathroom was another heater
The apartment was in the front of lake and and in the beautiful part of the city arounded by nice bars and restorants. I recomend it to other people that want to visit pogradec city.
This hotel is a credit to Albania by far the best in our travels here the best shower bed and location since we left Oz 5 weeks ago, the owner was nothing short of amazing the whole stay if 2nites was amazing we didnt want to leave!! We had our room upgraded totally awesome. If we ever came back to Albania would come here. Clean great views everything was as advertised and better.

Loved the balcony right on the lake.  Staff were very helpful despite limited communication on both sides. Breakfast of plain omelette, or fried eggs, cheese, jam, bread, and coffee, and /or cappuccino was good.  Bed was comfortable with nice lace on the pillowcases.  Hotel was quiet.

Very polite stuff. Very clean and new room. They had reserved a space in the private parking lot for our car. The hotel is situated at the lake front at the centre of Pogradec at the very heart of the promenade. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.
The hotel is just a few years old. The food is very good and you will have a beautiful view of lake Ohrid. A gravelroad just east of the hotel leads to a small beach where you can swim in the lake enjoying the view of the mountains on the east shore.
The apartment was comfortable, clean and near the center of the city. The position was really great, near the lake and a lot of nice restaurants and bars near home.

The apartment has everything you need. It's clean and comfortable. Considering the price it's a perfect choice to stay in Pogradec. Parking was no problem. Plenty of hot water in the shower.
