This hotel is at a brilliant location, right infront of the beach and great restaurants, bars and ice cream parlours around. It’s a great place to be! Himare was one of our favorite places to stay during our trip. The owner seems like a very cool lady!
The rooms were clean, a little outdated but that was absolutely no issue for us. The room even had space to dry swim clothes and towels which was a big plus for us. We‘d definitely come back without hesitation!

Close to the beach, balkony view. We stayed just outside the season (end of September). Kitchen and main area were closed which was the same for other places around this beach eventhough it was still 30 degrees. Would love to come back during summer time.

The accommodation is extremely clean, comfortable, quiet, bright, airy, well decorated, spacious and inviting. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipment for meal preparation and food storage. The WiFi, washing machine, air conditioning and hot water work well. The location is excellent. The patio and garden area is pleasant and tranquil. It is a short walk from the bus stop, many shops, businesses, supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, beaches and touristic sites. Communication and checking in and out is easy. The hosts are always available and eager to be of assistance. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Himara is such a sweet small city.I have spent a few days every summer here since I was a child,so I perfectly know the place and how it has turned up for great potential during the years.Himara is a strategic point to stay because every beautiful village nearby is no more than 20 min away by car.It has lovely bars and restaurants which could be considered in the cheap side if compared to our neighbor states,a lovely promenade if you want to go for a walk during the evenings and the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises you could see.The Spille beach is a white sandy to pebbly beach which is great for a morning swim or just spent the day.The food is amazing and of great quality,the seafood is fresh and the variety is great.You could find literally everything you need in Himara,for every age.

On Booking it was written that the structure accepted payments by card, but on the spot they did not accept payment. Only after days we were able to pay

Himarë is not the prettiest of seaside towns but the area...
Himarë is not the prettiest of seaside towns but the area offers some stunning beaches with crystal clear, turquoise waters (some can be reached only by boat). Unfortunately, the town itself is characterised by unfinished/abandoned buildings, roads with potholes and filthy bins. The waterfront promenade has recently had an upgrade but is dominated by uninspiring tourist restaurants, loud music as well as crowds and crowds of people on summer evenings.

Few very good public beaches, surprisingly clean. There are on plenty of restaurants and bars, we enjoyed Taverna Lefteri and Himare 28. The city has a great position for excursions (Dhermi, Saranda, Ksamil, Gjirokaster…). People are nice and kind.
The location with this view over Himare is absolutely incredible (from the room and the beautiful terrace) and beats absolutely any other hotel I stayed at during my time in Albania. The host does not speak English but is so accommodating and sweet! The bed was comfy (a bit hard but I prefer that), good air conditioning, a fridge, great breakfast which is included and all of that for so little money!!
The 5min hike from the street up to the castle is a bit steep but so nice, I actually loved walking up there.
This hotel was one of the highlights on our trip to Albania! The views are beautiful, the family who run the hotel are very friendly and genuine people - we truly felt at home and very cared for! The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the restaurant was exceptional. We ate here for dinner every night - everything was delicious. It is a little bit outside of Himare but it’s more quiet and peaceful, which we loved. We were very sad to leave and are already making plans to come back. Thank you!
Hotel Potami Beach is perfect for a stay in Himare! You should book a room with seaview - the water is so clean that you can see every rhinestone even from the third floor and the most amazing sunset every evening. The rooms are simply but functionally furnished. Umbrella plus two sunbeds are included in the room rate. No breakfast but you can order breakfast in the restaurant.
It's only a few steps to the beach which was not very crowded as high season was already over.

Room was fantastic. Very nicely fitted, very clean, quiet and a lovely large balcony with a view over the mountains and down to the ocean. Breakfast was superb, great coffee, home made pastries and the family running the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful. From restaurant and Beach recommendations to fixing our leaky air conditioning, they really made the stay special. The best hotel we stayed in on our trip in Albania! Thanks so much.
The pictures on the website show the upgraded room. The standard rooms do not have the same views or bathtubs. The hotel is located right by the ocean. This particular beach is not very nice and very crowded. However, there are many great restaurants on the boardwalk. There are also options for affordable boat rides right there from the beach. The host was very kind and gave us a complementary homemade olive oil and rake upon check-out
Incredibly beautiful hotel with a picturesque view the mountains and sea. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and the room, featuring a balcony with 180 view, was modern, boutique, and very clean. The guesthouse is made most incredible by the hosts and the restaurant they run (the best food of the whole trip for us!). We loved it so much, we extended our stay and are looking forward to returning!
The hotel is great and the staff is amazing! Especially Alex is a lovely host, always eager to make your stay as great as posible. We had a delicious Dinner and he also recommended us great beaches in the area. Also the nearest beach was just 200m away. Also breakfest was great and the Service top. Himare is not as touristy as other places so we loved it
The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly and super flexible. We had the best accomodation during our Albanian trip. The apartment is in the best location in Himare (1 min to the coziest and mlost scenic beach), It is up to the modern standards and has all the ammenities you would ever need. Highly recommended!

Family run place with all the confort of higher tier hotels but for a very friendly price. We stayed at the top floor facing the sea/mountain and the views were astonishing! We had sunset everyday. The beds were very comfortable and AC worked perfect and the room was modern and very clean.
A true gem - comfortable, quaint accommodation with nice pool, good restaurant, and gorgeous view of Porto Palermo. The family running the hotel are lovely, gracious hosts. Parking is on the property, and is within walking distance to San Mateo beach, which was gorgeous and remote.
