I had an absolutely amazing stay at Shoestring Cave Hotel in Cappadocia! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcomed and taken care of. My flight was delayed by several hours, but Omid went above and beyond to make sure I got to the hotel safely. He reassured me during the whole process and was incredibly kind when I finally arrived late at night. Knowing I hadn’t eaten in hours, he showed me where I could get food and shared so much useful information about Cappadocia—his help really made my trip stress-free.
Another standout was Yalçın. After my incredible balloon ride, he was so helpful and even offered to take photos of me on the hotel’s rooftop. As a solo traveler, I couldn’t have captured those beautiful moments without his help! He was so kind and even introduced me to his adorable cat, which added a warm, personal touch to the experience.
The hotel itself was stunning. My room was comfortable and beautifully designed, the facilities were top-notch, and the breakfast was just superb—such a vast selection of hot and cold food, along with various juices to choose from. Every part of my stay exceeded expectations.

The hotel is beautiful inside and out. It's in a quieter area which is peaceful, but still only 10 minutes walking into the town centre. The rooftop bar is lovely and an amazing terrace to watch the balloons in the morning. The staff were super helpful and friendly too. Absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend to all!

The accommodation is at a perfect location, right smack in the centre and you can see the hot air balloons pass by early in the morning. The breakfast was generous and tasty.

We really enjoyed our three nights here. The rooms were great and the location (at the end of red valley) perfect. But the best thing about this hotel is the lovely staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay great, for example arranging for our own trip to Ilhara Valley and Selime cathedral and Dernkuyu underground city. Which, by the way, was a highlight of out time there. Also, FYI, on the final morning the balloons really did come over our valley, like in the pictures. It was magical.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Location is good. Owner Yasar and his Staff Ahmed are very helpful. Yasar ensured that inspite of our delayed arrival, they managed to arrange for the horse riding tour through there contacts. They made our stay a memorable one.A very good fine dining restaurant "Cappa Gusto" is just in front of the hotel.
