Our family of five stayed with Johan and Elodie for seven nights in March. The snorkeling just off the beack is good. It varies with tide and turbdity so aim for low tide and really sunny weather and then everything turns on. We loved the experience and spent our days snorkeling and eating delicious seafood. We took four excursion boat trips: 1.) Nosy Tanikely National Park-great visibility and beautiful corals; 2.) Makako Lemur sanctuary on Nosy Komba in Ampangorinana and nearby tiny island of Nosy Ambariobe for snorkeling; 3.) Nosy sakatia for swimming with really large green sea turtles; and 4.) across from Nosy Komba to hidden beach for more snorkeling on Madagascar main island directly across from Remo e Bernice. All the trips were awesome but the swimming with the really big green sea turtles in Sakatia was a highlight. The caring attention to our needs from Johan and Elodie was also a highlight. We hiked up the Nosy Komba mountain half way but it rained super hard so we just enjoyed the verdant gardens in the forest of spices and chameleons. It was all amazing.

Absolutely fabulous place. The owners were amazingly hospitable, the cabanas are beautiful and the whole place is decorated with an immense eye for detail. Extremely great service across the board, for sure our favorite place in Madagascar.

Everything! Wonderful and secluded place to stay that gives you those unique experiences you will remember for years with an amazing atmosphere and wonderful hosts. The bungalows are of very high standards with unique views and very fresh interior - rooms were also every day. The gardens are wonderful and the surroundings are amazing - a true nature experience. Tasty and varied meals that were homemade every day and plenty of things to do that the hosts gladly were arranging. We have been travelling much around and this is absolutely one of our best experiences. Hope to come back one day and thank you so much for contributing to making our holiday its best! The house is in a beautiful location with a lovely view. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday stay. Very comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly. Unfortunately, we couldn't speak French, so we couldn't have nice conversations with them but they were all very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend it for future guests. Just make sure to bring enough supplies of water and food from the mainland when you come as there are no shops close by.

Wonderful location and great hosts. Surrounded by wildlife. Very easy transfer from the airport. Ideal place for the kids to learn to snorkel and build their confidence before we did a morning trip to Nosy Tanikely which I would highly recommend.

We have had a beautiful extended weekend. I rate the VERONIKA Resort very, very positively. Truly beautiful, newly built resort, in gorgeous nature. The staff is very kind and friendly. The cuisine is excellent, number one. There's a beautiful coral garden right in front of the resort. The trips and overall organization are very good. The rooms are cozy, clean, and comfortable.
