Exceptional accommodation with incredibly helpful management who will do anything to make your stay comfortable. We arrived on bikes and they vet helpfully locked these safely away for us overnight.,The pool was an additional bonus at the end of a very long bike ride - very special!! Room for was huge, shower exceptional and chips ordered last minute outstanding! No hesitation to recommend this fabulous hotel.

This hotel/pub is a little gem. Really glad we found it. Staff were very nice and friendly and the food was excellent. We will certainly be visiting again.

Comfy Modern APT - Sleeps 4 is located in Uppingham, 32 km from De Montfort University, 36 km from Kelmarsh Hall, as well as 10 km from Rockingham Castle.
Staff were excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was excellent - good cooked breakfast with lots of choice.. Room and public areas were very clean & tidy. Managed to get on the Crown car park which was good. Location excellent - right in the middle of town and opposite marketplace
Its location and its price couldn’t have been any better for me and the property also allowed my dog to stay in the room for an extra £10 which was ideal. Although everything is very basic, all you need is there for a nights stay.
Large room very clean. Large comfortable clean bed. Large comfy sofa. I requested a room at the end of the coridoor so as not to be disturbed by other guests walking passed, and the hotel obliged. The room was very quiet and I had a great night's sleep. They provide a wall heater if it's too cold, and a fan if it's too hot. Free parking. Good Wi Fi. Good simple self serve continental breakfast included in the cheap price. Even use of the microwave any time if you wanted a microwave meal in the evening.
Room was a decent size, clean and location ideal to travel around. Indian restaurant nextdoor served good food but you will have to travel several miles to eat at restaurant or pub.The saving grace is that this hotel is very reasonably priced.
We leave just outside Sunderland and visit family in N London. Ideal place to rest in between locations. You don't want to spend a fortune. This place was cheap and clean.
