The hostess is a very friendly lady. There is a small shop (boulangerie mainly) opposite the hotel. The hotel has many parking spaces in front of the building. The room was spacious, very clean, with a kitchenette and a really big bathroom. The restaurant Landgasthaus Lohre is just a 5 minute stroll (they serve the most amazing Balkanschnitzel - order one!) but it is always crowded, therefore, an advance reservation is recommended.

Rooms were very clean and modern. Have to say I stay in a lot of hotels during the year with work and I had, THE best nights sleep I have ever had while working away from home. I arrived about 9pm, and no food available at that time but the owners did brilliantly and ordered pizza for me and a second guy I was travelling with for work. The apartment's absolute highlight is how well it caters to kids. The bag of toys we usually bring was not opened once and the many toys and games that are dotted around the flat provided hours of fun. There is also a great selection of amazing playgrounds in the area. For the grown-ups, the newly renovated bathroom and kitchen were quite nice and we especially enjoyed the parking on-site. While Wewer is a bit outside of Paderborn, most of the locations in town are easily accessible with a 10-12 minute car ride.
