The accommodation has a hot tub. Its a beautiful property !The view from the cabin is fantastic , it was wonderful to see the animals grazing freely and happily. Effort has been taken to create an environment of being rustic, earthy yet comfortable. The instructions were perfect and we could find our way easily to our cabin.
Plettenberg Bay
With Goose Valley Golf Club reachable in 14 km, Knysna Elephant Park Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. One of the most memorable stays of our trip on the Garden route. The rooms are spacious and clean, and adjoin the sleeping shed for the beautiful elephants. We saw them lie down to sleep and woke up at sunrise to see them in the shed with better light (quite dark and hard to see at night). Everything is clean and very well run. The animals are well looked after. Feeding them was an unforgettable experience. Thank you. Nice breakfast (slightly oily) and good gift shop. Highly recommend.
Wilderness
The air-conditioned chalet consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and 1 bathroom with a hot tub and free toiletries. Towels and bed linen are available in the chalet. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. We really enjoyed our vaca. Highly recommend.
Plettenberg Bay
All units come with a balcony with mountain views, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a toaster, and a private bathroom with shower. A fireplace is offered in every unit. At the chalet complex, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The tents are modern with lovely interiors. Lovely fireplace inside and you get complete privacy outside. There is a BBQ area and a traditional hot tub where you need to burn wood. But the highlight of the stay would be the amazing service and interaction with Lisa Marie who was the manager of the property. I dont usually write reviews but for a change I had to write to praise the support and enthusiasm she shows for her work. I really appreciate people who work with passion and show kindness towards fellow human beings and she needs the words of encouragement and totally deserves the praise. Gem of a person. We had an amazing time, pity we couldnt stay for long. But if we return to South Africa am going back to this place.

Very special place in the forest as stop on your garden route roadtrip. Location is great - between plett & Tsitsikama nature reserve. We upgraded the honeymoon suite which was very special - full glass cabin surrounded by trees. You have to be lucky with the weather though, we gladly had some sun. The staff turns on the fireplace in the room for extra warmth during the night. The diner was incredibly good and also the breakfast was really nice.
Absolutely beautiful there. Lovely chalet and lots of great animals to see. 4x4 vehicle recommended for exploring the game reserve but any other vehicle would get you to your chalet just fine. Take firewood with you for the fireplace/braai.
The wild life allow you to get much closer on foot than I expected. Was lucky enough to see a variety. Loved the cabin and fireplace and the swimming pool in walking distance.
The 2 bedroom "cabin" was beautifully decked out with a comfortable sofa, comfy beds and a nice wooden outdoor dining setting and deck chairs on the verandah, which had a lovely partial view of the Knysna lagoon. All the kitchen pots, utensils and crockery is Le Creuset, which impressed us, and was nice to use. The braai worked well and kindling and firewood was included. The lovely the lagoon was great for relaxing under the milkwood trees, and to step off for a swim in the lagoon at high tide.
Very well designed wooden chalet, centrally located in Storms River, in a lush garden with great view over the tsitsikamma mountains. We enjoyed the outside shower! Extremely friendly and helpful host!
The chalet was very well maintained and super clean with stunning views. Was so fabulous to be so embedded in nature and to hear the sounds of the waterfall. Lots of food to light the fire which kept the cabin super cosy. We used the Kolkol which was one of our most magical experiences as a family. Dinner was also super tasty and restaurant staff very friendly.
What a magical experience! Such a beautiful little Chalet nestled in the bush. So isolated and far from civilization - we loved the privacy. You only hear nature and a ton of birds. It was such a cozy little place. I loved the visits from the birds and the fireplace in the evenings. More than enough wood for braais and the fireplace at night. Kind host and we just loved Thandi! Chalet was well equipt and we had absolutely everything we needed. We CANNOT wait to be back!
The chalets are beautiful and spacious. The fireplace and wood supplied is wonderful in cold weather. The private pool is great, would have been even better if it was warm. The gowns were soft and fluffy. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The facilities were clean and accessible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hiking trails were well marked. Wonderful place, worth the money spent.
The huts and the whole resort are very special, you really do feel a bit like you are in the jungle. The resort is located directly on the lagoon and there are kayaks and SUPs that you can rent for free. The cabins are perfectly equipped and very cosy and you can have a nice barbecue.
