The hosts are awesome people, very friendly and welcoming, they've been in touch with us the whole time. One of the best people we've met during our travels. The location itself is amazing. Large area for the guests with a very comfortable sitting space and swimming pool. It's very close to the ocean as well, just 2 minutes by foot. Great starting spot for travelling across the island, but you'll rather need a car for that. There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. But the neighborhood is very calm and pleasant. And the night sky is so mesmerizing there! The villa that we had was beautiful, with comfortable large beds, well-equipped kitchen, and a lot of space. The A/C was good enough to keep the temperature inside on a very pleasant level. We enjoyed our time there so much! I can't imagine a better place on the island to stay.

Then, the accommodation itself is charming. In a perfect location, you are just a few meters away from a beautiful beach. Additionally, you are a 10-15 minute drive from astonishing beaches on the west of the island. If you are seeking a peaceful place with essentially your own 'private' beach, you are in the right place. We can't wait to come back again.

Located on the island of Mahé, Kokogrove Chalets features wooden self-catering units overlooking the swimming pool and lush garden. It is nestled on Enfoncement Hill and is within 1 km from the Anse Royale beach. Lise and Jude are the most hospitable people I have ever met. All of our wishes were fulfilled. We were invited together with other guests to dinner, which was wonderful. The accommodation is located in the jungle, away from the main road. Everyone who loves the nature and bird songs will like it here. A car is preferred.

The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom facilities are excellent. There is a table on the patio to enjoy the outside. There is a tv with a variety of channels and the wi-fi was good. There is a supermarket a minute down the road, and it's a quick walk down to town. There is quite a substantial hill to get up from the town/port, but there is a bus stop right above the lodging. The hostess was wonderful! She made me feel very welcome, and even made me some food for my first night there! If I were in the area I would definitely stay there again!
