Situated in Geres, in a historic building, 700 metres from Geres Thermal Spa, Chalet Villas Gerês is a recently renovated villa with an outdoor swimming pool and garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Rooms are equipped with a balcony with mountain views. Chalet Villas Geres is a lovely oasis near the Peneda Geres National Park. It is within any easy walk to the charming town of Geres and near the hiking trails of Peneday Geres. The pool is clean and absolutey beautiful, tucked under a huge Palm tree with the river nearby. Our villa was quiet and private. The hosts, Susana and Tomas were a delight, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Natur Waterpark is 25 km from Muas Guest House, while Douro Museum is 38 km away. The nearest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro, 95 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The stay was very pleasant. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Also, the facilities was very comfortable and clean, the view was amazing and the breakfast was always complete. The only thing was that the bathroom water drain could be even smarter. In addition to everything, I recommend the Muas Guest House and their homemade cakes, they were amazing.

The air-conditioned chalet consists of 1 bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and a coffee machine, and 1 bathroom with an a bath or shower and a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are offered in the chalet. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. The house is in the vineyard, the view from the terrace is stunning. It's very quiet and relaxing in the place. The hosts are very nice people. We asked for a wine tasting, and they gave us an excursion that was really interesting and with a special homey touch (unlike the big wineries). Would definitely like to visit them again! Oh, and looking at the pictures I wasn't sure that the sofa would be comfy to sleep for my child. But unfolded it turned out to be very comfy.

Solar do Cávado offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and shower. We booked the double room with balcony and had a magnificent river view. The room was bigger than I thought it was going to be, based on the size in the description. Everything very clean. The drive to the property with narrow, winding roads. Good thing they serve a delicious, inexpensive, dinner, because I didn’t want to drive that road too many times. We had good access to Geres National Park hikes, but we felt very secluded. Breakfast was included in the price and had everything you want, including eggs and bacon. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend.

The host was so welcoming and nice to talk to us about adjacent landmarks. The little house had everything and more than one could ask for. The view from the window is something to return for. Everything is perfect, starting from the welcome snacks and drinks to the wonderful breakfast in the morning. The morning mango and bakery included were a delight.

Set in Boticas in the Norte Region region and Carvalhelhos Thermal Spa reachable within 2.7 km, Boticas Parque Natur Houses offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a garden and free private parking. The apartments are clean and cozy with all general purpose things you could need for your stay. The surroundings are amazing, forests with mushrooms and trees. Also great for kids to be able to learn about farm animals and rural environments.

Offering an outdoor pool, Equinaturi is set in Santo Tirso, 24 km from Porto. Braga is 26 km from the property. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property, and air conditioning is available at some units. I like the property it was so bright and green right in mountains and has amazing swimming pool and place to park the car.

The accommodation is very well equipped and very comfy, with private parking. It far exceeded what we expected. We will be back.
