Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area. The star gazing domes are really cool, overlooking sand dunes where you can go sliding. This Chalet is family run so there is care going into keeping it clean, well equipped & maintained. We did a package tour with Abdulaziz and Mr. Khalid which was great too as it was an addon to staying at their Chalet. The area is very safe, the hosts are such amazing people and would highly recommend staying at Al Rooh.

Everything! It’s an amazing place in the middle of the dessert. We ordered the shuttle service to pick us up and it was the right decision. We also took the dune bashing trip and enjoyed the sunset over the dunes. I would definetly recommend it! All the staff is super nice.
Unique experience in isolation. Enjoyed the serenity and calm! Lovely, clean tent and bathroom hut. Dinner was absolutely delicious! Imran was very attentive. We took a transfer into the desert so we didn't have the stress of driving ourselves which was definitely the right decision for us! It was a nice ride and Hamad told us a lot about the history and current situation in Oman on our ride back the next day.

Our stay was wonderful in the sunrise chalet (you get to see the sunrise above the dunes). The outside area is very spacious and includes a swimming pool and a garden terrace. The two separate rooms with one double bed and three single beds are great for a family. Hot tub and billiard too. The activities in the desert (dunes bashing at sunset and camel riding) were very well organised. The manager invited us for a campfire to drink tea and eat corn on the cob. We had a fun time under the stars talking through the evening.
Great location in the desert. The hut are very simple but cosy. It’s also nice to be able to walk to the sand dunes for the sunrise / sunset. The host and staff are all very kind. It was great to have a nice warm tea while watching the stars. They also propose many activities for the guests.
Clear fast communication. Friendly hospitable staff. Spacious clean tent with comfortable beds, clean bedding & towels. Delicious buffet dinner & breakfast with sufficient variety & quantity. Shuttle service included an awesome excursion for sand dune bashing & to watch sunset. If you are looking for 5 star hotel amenities (WiFi, hot water for shower), then this authentic back to nature desert experience is not for you. Thank you Sands Dream for a truly wonderful time at your camp - would highly recommend!

The Bedouin tent is amazing, out in the dunes with great surroundings created by the Camp (e.g. fireplace, swing etc.). The whole thing is magical, the food was great (both breakfast and dinner), and the staff is superfun. We had great fireside conversations and the programs they provided were great too (dune bashing at sunset). They provide shuttle to the tent if you don’t have 4WD car (though OR10 is a bit expensive for that).
