Skogafoss Waterfall is 17 km from Grund Cabin. The nearest airport is Vestmannaeyjar Airport, 44 km from the accommodation. Amazing cabin in the middle of nowhere. Very spacious,, charming, family friendly and clean. You could see the northern lights from the inside as it has many windows, yet it is private. It has two bathrooms, one with a tub and one with a shower. The main room has a loft with a large bed. You can easily have 6-7 people sleep here. It has a big and new jacuzzi that were weren't able to use because of our schedule. The house can be tricky to find with Google maps. Just get familiar with how it looks like on the outside, it was no trouble for us. Grocery store and gas station are 30 minutes away. So plan in advance and buy what you need before arrival. Very few restaurants in the area as well. Still very charming. 15 minutes away from 3 of most popular waterfalls in the south.
