From the moment we arrived, it felt like a haven. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the shower was stunning. We really appreciate the craftsmanship of the entire location. The pool and net were so fun. The attention to details was on another level and so appreciated. They even turned our bike around when we were ready to leave so that it was easy to drive down the hill. Andres and his team have poured so much passion and energy into this beautiful space and one can tell. It was also very peaceful and quiet. Absolutely our own little oasis. Also we ordered the breakfast from them and the "big breakfast" was so delicious.

Anya and his family are so kind and welcoming. The food was always delicious and the surroundings are so beautiful. We did the walking tour with Anya and it was great - he knows so many people in the local area so we could stop and help harvest the rice, have local coffee etc. Our stay was my highlight of our time in Indonesia. The room is simple but comfortable and clean. The shower is hot. After being in the very hot humid Gili islands we were worried about not having aircon but the temperature in Tetebatu is very nice and cool in the evening. There are also not many mosquitos.

The room was beautiful and the place is surrounded by rice terraces. Our host took us on a day trip to explore the surrounding rice terraces, some waterfalls and to visit local traditional bamboo and sarong makers. It was a really authentic experience. Would recommend staying in Tetebatu at Nea Cottage.

This was one of the best places I’ve stayed in my many months of travelling and definitely the best value for money. The rooms and bathrooms were so clean and beautiful and the balcony view was incredible. The delicious (and large) free breakfast is also delivered to your balcony. Comfortable beds, A/C and a hot shower. The owners were so friendly, going out of their way to make sure all my needs were catered for. Two of the young guys there also took me to the waterfall last minute which was really fun! The place is situated next door to the waterfalls entrance and restaurants and is a perfect place to stay after the challenging Rinjani hike (or if you’re just visiting Seranu). The property is located in a quiet area with coconut trees all around. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful. The bed also happens to be very comfortable as well. There's an outdoor kitchen with an actual swing at the bar ( how unique). The pool is fabulous and even has a little cave built into it. The host always responded promptly to my texts as well and even came to meet me at my previous villa to help with luggage. I would definitely rent this villa on next visit to Gili Air. There's also a cute cafe nearby with delicious desserts and coffee.
