Just a 10 minute taxi ride into bustling Kuta town & beyond...for a day out Andreas recommended we visit Selong Belanak beach which was lovely....only 35 minutes away & taxis are arranged by the friendly staff. We also took advantage of the in-room massage services which were excellent . Communication from Andreas & the staff was very good, checking each day to make sure we had everything we wanted....well done...! We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Kalma. We were made to feel really welcome, totally at home..... highly recommended!!!!

Jul and his family were the best hosts! The homestay rooms were so comfortable and clean, one of the comfiest beds I’ve had in Lombok. They cooked amazing local food and breakfast, we had Curry, Noodles, Nasi Goreng - they also had non local options. For breakfast they had lots of options The Trekking was the highlight. We booked it through the homestay, Jul answered all of our Qs over WhatsApp and gave us a great price. The price included pick up at Lombok port (or wherever you want), one night at homestay, everything needed for trek - food, water, camping equipment, and also transfer to wherever we went after! The price you pay isint just for your guide. It’s for Jul, and also 2 porters that have to carry everything for you up the mountain, it is such hard work. They deserve every penny. We did 2 days one night and It was amazing. At each stop Jul and his porters cooked us these huge meals, they were delicious. I was worried about the trek as I have quite average fitness but Jul set the pace perfectly and always stopped when needed. We reached the crater within 7 hours stopping as much as we needed. Please don’t book your trekking with a big company, the service Jul and his porters provide on the private tour is exceptional. Thanks again Jul🤩

The property is located in a quiet area with coconut trees all around. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful. The bed also happens to be very comfortable as well. There's an outdoor kitchen with an actual swing at the bar ( how unique). The pool is fabulous and even has a little cave built into it. The host always responded promptly to my texts as well and even came to meet me at my previous villa to help with luggage. I would definitely rent this villa on next visit to Gili Air. There's also a cute cafe nearby with delicious desserts and coffee.

My stay at Lumi was amazing! The staff really went above and beyond, everyone was super-friendly. Room ("beach cabin") was beautiful and clean, not very spacey though (but ok for one-person stay). Whole place is amazing, really beautiful complex. Breakfast "experience" is perfection. I also highly recommend dine in their beach-barbecue place (delicious food for reasonable price) with the pictoresque view on the sunset beach. Oh and you can get just borrow bikes at no extra cost which is very convenient.
The location was amazing! Made up for everything. You literally walk out your beach cabin into the sea. Just could use a lot of renovation. Everything is outdated. But the staff and the location makes up for that! Beautiful and would come back either way.
The room close to the pool it was super nice. A wooden cabin. The staff is the most kind and amazing!! Really good. They also have laundry service wich is really good

Our villa/hut was beachfront which was a lovely surprise! The balcony had a lovely view. Due to the wooden hut you will hear all the sounds from nature, this included being able to listen to the ocean waves in bed which we loved! It also meant you could hear live music and people outside when busier, as long as you are not hoping for long morning sleeps you should be ok! Ear plugs if early night. Staff were lovely. B/f was basic but nice with juice and tea/coffee. Staff were attentive and easy going.
the garden, the huts, the location, the price, everything was perfect at mustika. the staff were so friendly and our little cabin so cosy and comfortable. the garden was gorgeous and a lot of effort is made to keep it up by the staff. the staff are super friendly and do everything they can to help. we kept extending and extending and stayed 2 weeks longer than planned.
Mowies is a dream come true - exceptional accommodation (beautiful little beach huts set amongst a very pretty garden each with beautiful bathrooms & the comfiest beds) and a stunning restaurant leading onto it's own section of pristine Gili beach. The staff are all so incredibly welcoming & helpful & it was by far our favourite place to eat on the island as well as enjoy a cocktail or two. By far the best place to stay on Gili Air & we would return in a heartbeat. Missing this magical place already x
A pretty nice hotel near the beach that preserved some of the beach hut attitide from the early days of Gili Air. Room is big enough, bed is comfortable and AC works well. The exeptionally friendly staff gave me a bicycle to explore the land and mask and finns to explore the water. Restaurant was good too, there's an amazing sitting area at the beach. When I was about to leave, the friendly lady at the reception suggested that I take the bike and just leave it at the harbour. That's the vibe.
