This flat was lovely - very clean, well furnished - the kitchen was just what we needed, and our delightful host Lorna could not have been more helpful. Very convenient to the bus routes. Four of us were very comfortable here and would definitely stay again.

Large tub was delightful, robes and a standing fan saved us. Responsive hosts. Bottled water and chocolates nice touch.

Offering a garden and lake view, The Lodge by the Lake, Dunbar is located in Dunbar, 2.8 km from Whitesands Beach and 33 km from Muirfield. This beachfront property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The chalet has private entrance. The property was a cute little lodge on the edge of a Loch. It was very warm and cosy- perfect for a weekend escape. It was lovely and secluded with plenty of wildlife around- i would definately recommend a set of binoculars to do some bird watching while relaxing in the hot tub. The hot tub was pre heated and the rooms was beautifully clean. All the amenities was all in good working conditions. Hair dryer, defuser and kitchen in good working order- although the extractor fan wasn't working this wasn't an issue. Its a perfect place for star gazers, you can see over 4 constellations in the sky as it seems to be in a dark area with many shooting stars. Lovely beaches close by and not far from the centre with some lovely shops and resurants. Will definately be booking looking forward to booking again in the summer.
North Berwick

Lovely cottage, generous rooms, comfortable bed, great shower, awesome garden. Kitchen contained everything one could need and there was an abundance of firewood for the lovely log burner. Little touches like gorgeous natural toiletries and luxurious linens really enhanced out stay. Perfect.

The chalet is in a delightful location, with sea views on a clear day. Easy access to main roads, local town centre and out of town attractions. This was a return visit to the chalet as my grandson had really enjoyed staying there before. Kay messaged me with instructions of where to find the keys and left us with some tasty delights to enjoy. The eggs could not have been fresher, the bread and biscuits delicious.
Lasswade

Location was perfect for me and I could come and go when I wanted to take advantage of the weather for my photography. I could also eat in or out as I wanted as the cabin had all the things I needed to eat in.
This is a great location. The cabin was clean and spacious. Just what we needed to stretch out after a long flight. We had a car so getting around was easy. We didn't need to worry about anything other than food but that's also available in the caravan park if you want.
My room was huge, with ensuite. I loved the old-fashioned wooden shutters which kept the heat in well. Staff happy to keep my bag for a while after checkout, at no charge. Leith was the area I wanted to be in, and it's about 20 mins from the centre by bus.
Nice room, though had a bit of an issue with a fault, moved to a better room without any problem. Although on a ground floor on a busy road, good windows and wooden shutters kept the noise and light out. All breakfast stuff is in the room, eggs, milk, bread, fruit and cereal. No complaints there. Able to leave the car on site for a couple of days after we checked out.
I liked the location of the apartment as it is close to bus and tram stops, shops and a particularly nice eating place. Entry into the building is by a door code and I much prefer this rather than struggling to find keys in a pocket/bag, The apartment is in a lovely old building and the decor of the inside is both stylish and homely. The huge windows, which let in so much light, had beautiful original wooden shutters. Everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay was provided in this lovely clean and spacious apartment.
it was a Sunday that we stayed so it was half the price which made it really worth the money. it was a gorgeous room and a super comfy bed. the sash windows and wooden shutters were a lovely touch. the shower was also really relaxing.
The location was fabulous. We were able to walk to restaurants as well as points of interest. The property itself was stunning as the charm of an old courthouse has been retained. We were a group of 7 and all three rooms were different. Our room had the original beautiful wooden shutters that folded over the inside of the windows and our friends had a family room that contained a jail cell room. The bathroom floors were heated and we had a lovely walk in shower. The rooms have been renovated to a very high standard.
twin room - modernly equipped- small open wardrobe but things one could need were there . Kettle didn't work on arrival but it was quickly dealt with. Good size room for a twin, maybe just a bit tight around the beds, with one small, shared cabinet with the hotel phone on it, so no more room for anything else. Good size toilet/shower room with great shower. Loved the inventive idea where one door is used to either shut the toilet only or have both behind closed door. Good breakfast. Friendly and accommodating staff.
