The breakfast view is amazing, so come early to have the best spot.

Great trails, a lot of wild nature right in front of the Hotel :)

Karen was exceptional and super helpful with getting Transportation arranged to other locations and to activities in the area. She was able to comprehend my bad Spanish. The atmosphere was very laid back and the breakfast was excellent.

We have stayed in many different places in La fortuna area and for one day we stayed in the tree house in Rio celeste area(limit 100$ per day). We did not want leave. This stay was by far better for a similar price. More comfy bed, clean soft towels, tasty food, nice idea of being elevated while watching birds in trees.

Very comfortable beds , great breakfast and they accommodated my need for GF as I am Coeliac. The grounds were absolutely stunning and the rooms were huge. Amazing wildlife, we saw toucans , iguanas and heard the howler monkeys.

They were super nice, helped us with advice for our stay whenever we needed it and just overall made the stay a great experience. The included breakfast (made by them) also super tasty and they served a generous portion. Also it's possible to get your clothes washed (they even folded it) and they provide towels. Great value overall. The chalet is simple but very nice, you go to sleep and wake up with the sounds of nature. The free frog tour in the propriety is a nice extra touch, you can see how much they care about they're land and love nature. It is more than just a frog tour, it's an experience to learn about a different way to look at the world (at least it was for us).

We loved everything about our time here, such a special place, run by a very special couple who are passionate about the environment. Clearly they have worked hard for 10 years to restore the habitat and in doing so they've attracted mary species of birds and animals. This is a very special place. To add to our enjoyment their home cooked food was delicious. Highly recommend staying here if you enjoy the local environment , they have guided walks and this very much adds to the experience
